This plugin allows Players to block with a shield... With sound effects, Activation, Duration and Hunger usage!!

Features

Allows players to craft piston heads which act like shields. Allows players sword blocks to negate damage. Custom Crafting recipes

Configuration

blockDuration: Integer, Seconds the blocking effect will last for

hungerCost: Integer, hungerCost per Block

nameOfItem: String, Name of Item when crafted

Default Durability: Integer, Durability of Item when crafted

Particle Color: Hexadecimal, Color of Particle ex. 0x00FF3C (Light - Green)

sound: boolean, whether or not to play sound on block

Fireworks: boolean, whether or not to play firework effect on block.

damageAfterHunger: boolean, whether or not you can still block if you have no hunger

MultipleTeirs boolean, Whether or not have 3 teirs with redstone having default durability iron having default durability + 10 and diamond + 20

Description of Functions

When a player right clicks with a piston head it consumes a certain amount of hunger defined in the config While the player is blocking all damage inflicted from front is negated and the durability decreases by one. when a player is blocking it will display a potion effect on the player blocking.

Note: Blocks arrows from ALL directions

Permissions

Shield.Sblock: Allows players to use the same effect but with sword blocking.

Shield.block : Allows Players to block

Shield.craft : Allows a player to craft a shield

Ok, I have found the problem, The piston Extension no longer exists as an item I am now taking suggestions as to what block to use instead, for now you can fix this problem by changing the data.Teir1.ID value in the config to something other than 34 (piston extension)

Okay so a few bugs right off the bat on bukkit version 1.6.4

The /shield command causes an error, I have no idea what it's for but shows up on /help.
Cannot Craft Shields even as OP.
Using a SWORD as a Shield will cause the sword to be REPAIRED upon block.

I really like this plugin, it's an excellent idea please fix and add your upcoming features soon! Thanks :)

Very good! Um..would you mind If I request a suggestion? Is it possible that I was knockbacked If I shield attack like damaged by attack (no shield)?^.

Just to let you know with the new bukkit 1.7 dev when crafting a shield the server will kick you. If you need a place to test feel free to contact me our Paladins eagerly await the return of their shields.

Seems like it happened one time... randomly.... Im op, added the perm to my group, and tried to craft. And the shield is not craftable it seems. Its active in my plugins list, and i deledted the config. I cant seem to replicate that error...

was that the entire error? when does the error occur? when you click, when you break something, when you open up a workbench etc.

Oops, haven't updated permissions section, Permissio node is Shield.craft

Go into the realistic shield folder and delete the config so it can regenerate the defaults

hi i have this awesome mod in my server but when players tries to craft the shield it tells them they have no permission to craft it and i looked at the permissions you add i cant find one that says craft permission why is that?
