Mojang to officially implement Mutton

On June 30, 2014, Ryan Holtz announces that he's adding mutton as a new drop from sheep.

What does this mean for SheepMeat?

I had a lot of fun with this plugin. I dove into a part of the Bukkit API I had no experience in, but managed to release this small yet effective plugin. Instead of totally scrapping the code, I've decided to extend on the idea of 'more food' in the game. I'm planning on adding more ways to find, cook, craft, create, and preserve food in the game. SheepMeat as the name suggests allows sheep to drop their own food item. I made this plugin because I found it silly that Mojang *had* yet to add this feature to the game.

Features

Adult sheep will drop Raw Mutton.
Adult sheep killed by fire will drop Cooked Mutton.
Adult sheep killed by a looting item will drop 3 Raw Mutton.

Baby sheep will drop Raw Lamb.
Baby sheep killed by fire will drop Cooked Lamb.
Baby sheep killed by a looting item will drop 3 Raw Lamb.

Cooking Raw Mutton in a furnace will produce Cooked Mutton.
Cooking Raw Lamb in a furnace will produce Cooked Lamb.

Installation

Drag and drop SheepMeat.jar into your servers plugin directory.

Commands

None!

I'd love to, but what do you need translated exactly? There's not a lot in the plugin in terms of messages.

Hey! Just added your plugin, given it's likely legit-1.8 for the majority of plugin servers will be quite a ways off...

Anyways it's been working great except for an error that crops up, which I finally managed to track down the reason for. I have managed to determine that it at least occurs when anyone smelts Iron, but not sure if it occurs with other ores. I was going to begin testing but folks started to come on and began smelting, so I would have had no idea if it was me or them being the cause. :(

@FlOppythp Well would you look at that.. It was about time they added it. It's a win-win for me because I really wanted mutton in the game, but I also had my own plugin that did it. But anyway, the future plans for this plugin is to turn it into a general food plugin, and add all kinds of new recipes and food items/ingredients.

@flawlessbraz1 If someone has improved on the idea, then that's great!

animals drop meat has kinda outdone this plugin but was great plugin before it.

Sweet. This is the exact reason why I initially installed OtherDrops a long time ago. I like the ability to cook the custom meat and have it turn into custom cooked meat. Good job!
