Sheath
Sheath
This plugin is as simple as it gets. It adds the fun role playing mechanic of sheathing your swords, and making them appear visibly on your back. All swords are supported, and appear in a sheath(lever) on your back.
Commands
Simply type /sheath with a sword in your hand to sheath it, and /sheath with an empty hand to retrieve your sword. You can also shift+right click a block with an empty hand to pull out your sword, or click the lever on your head in the inventory screen. NOTE: Clicking the lever on your head in creative mode will give you a lever, not your sword, this is a Minecraft problem.
Permissions
sheath.use - gives the player access to the /sheath command
That's it!
It's really very simple, just drop it into your plugins folder, reload, and enjoy your new role play mechanic!

Hmm using Button option is impossible I think, But if you use player interactions so lets say someone shift left clicks the ground then it sheaths and if you shift right click the ground it is pulled out. I have made this and like I said in my other comment would love to continue this plugin.

Posted Sep 10, 2013I was thinking, a cool idea for this would be to add an option for a shortcut the pull sheath.
Such as hold control and right/left click, or the button in the middle of the mouse, and it pulls out the sword only if current slot is open?
Is this even possible?

I can't replicate the problem, all enchants seem to be being stored fine.
EDIT: Okay, the bug seems to occur only when using the click on lever to unsheath feature, so I'm uploading a patch.

Posted Mar 4, 2013Awesome Thanks Hoohoo! Also with the shields not sure if they it has been updated, but I tried crafting the shield and it would not work. Maybe whenever you have time you can check it out.
And once again, thanks so much for updating. :) Great plugin!
UPDATE: Whoops, sorry I just recently checked your shield plugin and saw your recent comment. Sorry to hear about the discontinuing of that plugin, wished I would of found out about it earlier.
