SetSpeed
SetSpeed is a plugin where one can edit how fast the player can run, fly, and swim. The multiplier will last until the server is turned off or the server is reloaded.
Commands
- /sp <multiplier> -multiplies all speeds
- /spa <multiplier> -multiplies all flying speeds
- /spsp <multiplier> -multiplies all sprint speeds
- /spsn <multiplier> multiplies all sneak speeds
- /spw <multiplier> -multiplies all swim speeds
Permissions
- sp.all
- sp.air
- sp.sprint
- sp.sneak
- sp.water

Note: Be careful when speeding up water speeds. I used a vector so the player will be constantly moving while in water.

Here is the new project, i just updated it and removed the un-needed things.

It is really buggy, and I was having trouble doing the fly/swimming speeds, although the running speed worked really well.
That's one of the reasons I dropped the project. I couldn't get it to work well, and I've moved on to other projects, specifically for Spout.

/spsn command didnt even exist, so i just removed it.
I personally love this plugin, but its really buggy..

Posted Mar 31, 2012Hey is it possible for the admin to set a speed for the players with a certain permission?
For example i have a race and they are water people, i want them it swim faster than the other races, can this be added in please.
Anyway this is a great plugin, the only one i've seen with a swim feature! Keep up the good work

Yeah I notice it too. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll see if I can fix it. I did test though and the running and sneak still work. And of course the swimming is kinda wierd. The reason its like this is because I am trying to make it without Spout.

Thats actually not true. This plugin gives the players the speed potion, which does increase the FOV, while increasing speed.

It only sets the field of view to a higher value and nothing more! Speeds are exactly the same

Thats not the purpose of the plugin. This is for server admins who want players to be able to run faster.
