This is the ultimate tutorial plugin for Bukkit. It allows easy creation of 'views' which the player sees after typing /tutorial.

Permissions

Tutorial types

Tutorial Type	Description
CLICK	Right click an item to go to the next view
TIME	Automatically go to the next view after a customizable amount of time

View types

View Type	Description
TEXT	Show message as a simple chat text
TITLE	Title (subtitle)
ACTIONBAR	Action bar above item bar

Miscellaneous

To make a sign, the top line must be [Tutorial] (changeable in the config), then the second line must be the name of the tutorial.
To make a tutorial start when a player first joins the server, edit the appropriate fields in the config.

Metrics

This plugin makes use of BStats Metrics.
To disable metrics either disable metrics in Bstats config file or disable it in the plugin config file.

We also include an update checker. It will download the latest updates for you. If you'd like to disable it, go into /plugins/ServerTutorial/config.yml

That will be in the next update as it will require protocollib as a dependency. Therefore I will have to re-design some of the code so that the plugin can still run without it. IE make it an optional feature but must have that dependency present for it to work.

Hey, I have an idea for the plugin, you should make it where the plugin only shows the chat of the tutorial because at the moment, other players chat can interrupt the plugin and on a large server, players can't read the tutorial.

the latter should enter a command to be activated at the end of the tutorial, and that can only be used 1 time per player to command

Just wanted to give a status of what is going on. I am currently testing server tutorial to make sure no bugs that I can find exist before uploading a new release. So far this is what will be in the next release.

Rewards System
UUID compatibility
Added in the API ability to get tutorial name from when player switches views
Plugin will track which tutorials players have been in so as to not double reward
Hopefully have squashed the double view bug ( Have yet to duplicate the glitch myself)
Ability to turn metrics off for the plugin itself, as opposed using global metrics file which turns off metrics for all plugins.
You will be able to change any configuration options from within the game, don't have to manually edit the config file.
for some of the above such as the config option in game, there will be added permission nodes.

Multi-line text support will come at a later time as it will require a re-write of a lot of the code to add it in, but do know it will eventually be added.

I think that you should also add a feature where you can add currency to a player's balance after completing a tutorial!

Yes it does teleport players around for the views. I am currently working for the text tutorials, to allow for multi-line text to be set. Instead of just a single line. My goal is to get a release out by the end of this week. So for me that is next Saturday. Currently I am the only one working on an update. Hence why it is taking some time. Anyways that is the approximate timeline of when the next release will hopefully be ready :)

When will the next release come out? I would really like to use this plugin! Does this plugin teleport players around for the "Views" Like MinePlex? -Thanks, Nelbrenn
