Works with 1.1
This allows for the server to block a persons chat in game if they try to advertise a server. This is my first plugin and I look forward to your suggestions and comments about this.
Phrases that are blocked
- join my server
- 25565
- 25566
- 25587
Future Updates
- Maybe mute or kick when trying to advertise
- A possible config file

Posted Jan 19, 2012Just what i wanted, but wouldnt it be possible to search chat for *.*.*.* where if the star is a number then block chat and notify/kick/ban?

Posted Jan 14, 2012This seems like maybe not the best solution to this specific problem, because people often rage and do stupid stuff like DDOS when they get banned, so autobanning all of them, some of whom might not have had the actual intent to do so or might have been kidding, could cause more problems than it solves.
However, a system for blocking phrases is not a bad idea, especially to block things like "join my server...." or perhaps blocking IP's or URL's would be helpful for cutting down on bad stuff.
