Plugin Description
UPDATED TO NEWEST CRAFTBUKKIT BUILD (1.10) - June 2016
This plugin was created to run basic commands without having to keep struggling with other command plugins. My players told me I should upload it to bukkit and, here it is!

I have also created two additional, standalone plugins that I am developing alongside ServerStarter as a basic server suite. One is a permissions plugin called SimplePerms, the other is a Command Signs plugin called CmdSigns. If you'd like to use these plugins on your server, you can find them in Files!

Developer Notes: Yes I know it's been done before but, I made this as a custom plugin for my server and a few of my players asked for me to upload it. There are permissions implemented (I have been making a custom permissions plugin as well) and i will continue updating this plugin!

I'll add that in for the next update. Is there any other functionality for these commands that you expect that I overlooked? I'm trying to make all the commands as user-friendly as possible.

Thank you very much! I can now teleport to numbered coordinates. The tilde character doesn't seem to work though. For example, teleporting to 100 ~ 100 should teleport you to 100x, the same y as you were at before, and 100z.

Posted Jun 15, 2016This plugin overwrites the builtin /tp command, which has the useful ability of teleporting to coordinates! Please either give the option to not replace the builtin /tp command or include teleporting to coordinates in your /tp command.

Well, to begin with I am so sorry for not being clear about that. As this plugin is a big work in progress it is difficult to say. Aside from working on this and my novel, I am very busy but I try to work when I can sorry.

You found exactly what I made this plugin for! I appreciate the advice, after all, that's why you can post comments here. Don't worry about this plugin getting to bulky. I stated somewhere that I was going to release a series of Server Starter plugins such as Starter Signs and Starter Portals and Starter Commands etc. to keep the original Server Starter lightweight.

Posted Aug 3, 2012This seems like a great plugin. I'm already running essentials but I would have liked something like this when I was first starting out. Additionally, essentials has become rather bloated, so I see the value of this.
I'd suggest you keep the following in mind to differentiate yourself from Essentials: -Simplicity. It's too easy to keep adding features. It's hard to keep a plugin simple. -Performance. One reason I could see myself using something like this instead of Essentials is if this is lightweight and faster.

Posted May 18, 2012Thanks for the response. I wasn't thinking so much towards copying Essentials, but moving from Essentials to Server Starter - if Server Starter could read the files, then moving would be painless. Even the ability to convert would be good.

Posted May 18, 2012Permissions are crucial. Do that first! Also, use the built-in bukkit permissions (player.hasPermission("permission.node")), all permissions plugins support it!
