Info Plus Logo

Info Plus is a plugin that will give a couple of new useful commands to your users.

There is now only a single version of the plugin, which is compatible with Java 6 and 7.

Commands so far:

/donate - displays a line of text on a players screen with a configurable link to where they can donate to your server.
/texturepack - displays some text with a configurable link to send your players to the site that they can download the recommended texture pack for use on the server.
/website - displays a link to your website. (Thanks to Fireb4 for the suggestion!)
/infoplus - displays the current version number, just in case you forget :)
/voice - displays a link to more info on the voice comms server(s) associated with you and your MC server(s). (@Rtzon)
/vote - displays a link for users to go to and vote for your server. (@ToxicWulf)
/staff - displays your head staff. (@ToxicWulf)

Other commands are planned and if you would like to leave a suggestion please submit a ticket!

If your idea is used, you will be credited here.

Instructions:

Place Info Plus.jar in your plugins directory.
Reload your server.
There should be a new folder in your plugins directory called 'Info Plus'. Open this and then open the config.yml.
Edit the 'Edit Me' texts to suitable links. (I would recommend using bit.ly to shorten your links)
Save your changes.
Reload your server again.
You're done!

Wow, nearly 3000 downloads! Thanks to everyone that uses my plugin!

I haven't deserted the plugin, I still check back a couple of times a week to make sure its up to date, I just don't have the time (or the skill) to add in better features.

Hey, great plugin, you should make it configurable on what it says EXACTLY, also you should set it so that you can configure it to turn off the players chat for x amount of seconds, like disable their chat for 3 seconds if they use one of your commands

Great plugin. Is there any way to remove a something from the config? Like if we only have 4 staff, is there a way so only 4 come up, instead of 4 staff and 2 blank? Thanks

No problem, I liked the ideas so saw no reason why I shouldn't put them in!

I'll work on the extra stuff now.

What I want to do is have it so that in the config there can be as many 'Head Staff' but it only prints the ones that have something other than 'Edit Me' after them. I'll also do the same with /ranks. The only problem is my understanding is still quite basic so more advanced features are difficult for me.

I'll try my best though, expect a new version either today or tomorrow.

Its ok about the staff thing, you can fix it in the next version :) Thanks for taking my suggestion, My plugin dev was going to add those commands with another plugin but he was not responding to me and I have very little skill in java at the moment.

Commands

/ranks - shows a list of the ranks on the server
/ranklist - like /ranks but this one or /ranks can be disabled in config if another plugin uses the same command
/infoplus reload - reload the config
/seed - shows the seed of the map
/extra - Extra info about the server
/playeroftheweek - shows who the player of the week is. Scans the folder named in the config

Command I need:

/commands

Shows a list of commans you have, it would be nice if this had a config file where you could put a big list of commands like this:

/kit - List all available kits.
/kit [name] - Take the specified kit.
/kitinfo [kitName] - Lists the items from a kit.
/help - Display useful information and help on how to play.
/spawn - During the waiting time, players can teleport themselves to spawn.
/coin - Shows the menu of this command (Advanced Reward)
/coin use - Use a Coin for Reward (Advanced Reward)
/coin send points <player> <amount> - send other Player points (Advanced Reward)
/coin send coins <player> <amount> - send other Player coins (Advanced Reward)

Heres a two commands that I think should be added

/infoplus reload - Reloads the plugin, its easier so you don't have to reload or restart your server.
/vote - this shows you a link to vote for the server.
/staff - Shows you a list of current staff.

Alright, I'm working on custom commands. To begin with, you will have to set the up in the config.yml but I will be working on in-game capabilities.

If anyone wants to lend a hand let me know.
