Sensible Toolbox

Sensible Toolbox adds a bunch of new items, tools, blocks, machines, an energy system, an item transfer system, plus a developer API to make it easy for other plugins to define their own items. It's heavily inspired by certain Forge-based mods, but of course requires no client modifications at all.

Known Plugin Incompatibilities

- MultiInv: if you're carrying any STB items when you switch inventories, those items will lose their data, since MultiInv doesn't currently preserve extended item attributes which STB uses to store item-specific information. The MultiInv author does plan to add attribute support so hopefully a newer version of MultiInv will resolve this in the future. For now the workaround is to store any STB items before you switch inventories.
- LWC: LWC is supported, but you must use a recent dev build of LWC with UUID support. Dev builds of LWC can be obtained from http://ci.griefcraft.com/job/LWC/. If you can't use a recent build, then you can disable LWC support: see Protection.
- WorldEdit, Movecraft or indeed any plugin which move regions of blocks around or directly clear regions without firing events: don't use them with any region which contains an STB block. The physical block will be moved or removed, but STB doesn't (can't) know that and will keep a record for the associated STB object in memory. This could lead to all sorts of problems.

Auto-Updater and Metrics

All my Plugins are using an Auto-Updater to make sure, you're always
using the latest and hopefully most bug free version of my Plugin.
If you don't want this Plugin to be auto-updated, you can turn it off
in the config file at "options -> auto-update: true/false"
They also use a Metrics-System which collects the following Informations:
A unique identifier
The server's version of Java
Whether the server is in offline or online mode
The plugin's version
The server's version
The OS version/name and architecture
The core count for the CPU
The number of players online
The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing
plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Sorry, but I see no reason for adding such a thing, there are already Item Routers which you can use to "push" things into Chests. Just ask the author of that Plugin or someone else.

Posted Jan 27, 2015Since I haven't been able to find a working Piston Chest plugin (Piston pushing specific blocks into chests), I was wondering if this might be a feature to add, if you're interested.
We used to use Enhanced Pistons. Since 1.8 came out, it has not worked. Many players enjoyed it on my server for their cobble and stone generators (As long as they didn't use redstone clocks). Some players even made the reverse feature quite useful in some cases, such as automatically repair a blasted floor from a compact storage area.
I don't expect you to allow any old piston to just push anything into a chest. I can see you would be able to make it a challenge, similar to many of the items Sensible Toolbox and Slimefun has.
Hope you like the idea and maybe add it. I know you'll make a lot of people happy.

Posted Jan 21, 2015Any known reason I get the following error on start?
I used to have Slimefun, but due it the fun lag spikes, we've taken it off for a while.

No sorry, Im not continuing STB 1.7.10, all new Builds require 1.8+
But I planned on looking for a workaround at some point which allows cross-version compatibility.

Hmmm, I might look into support for Residence, however I dont think Lockette support is needed since there is already a Public/Private/Friends only setting.

I never said I cant. I said I wont since the Auto Builder is meant to be used by friends or all Player as well, not only the Owner. It would either screw up STBs concept or yours.
@Th3PotatoArmyHD
Id like to stick with the Log texture since its closer to an actual Barrell texture.

Ehm, re-read my previous post. As I said 1) would still be able to be exploited. Id have to remove the public and private settings otherwise. And I dont want to do that.

I do know what you mean. And I can easily call the Event. However the event would only be called if the Player is online. So all your players have to do is to configure the AutoBuilder then go offline and come back in a minute or two and it can be exploited again.
Now, there are three solutions:
1) The Player has to be online in order for the AutoBuilder to work.
2) You have to disable the Auto Builder
3) You need to accept this.
However 1) can still be exploited if the Player sets the machine to be Restricted or even public. Or it would at least make no sense to have Restricted or public as an option.
So no matter what I do, it will still be able to be exploited.
The best you can do is to simply disable it, sorry for that.

I already know about all of these Errors. Already fixed most of them but I probably wont release a new update until all of them have been exterminated.
Im also expanding the Power Generation System at the moment with new Engines like a Bio Engine, a Magmatic Engine and maybe even a Nuclear Reactor which runs on Uranium from Slimefun.
And sorry for all of this drama below, dont like discussing such things in the public either but we do not tolerate inappropriate behaviour on Bukkit.

Posted Jan 13, 2015Since the drama below has died down now, figured now is a safe time to begin other chatter.
I've been noticing a few errors, related to machines, such as the Masher listed below. I would make a ticket, but I have not been recording each unique error for each machine.

I did not delete your comment. I simply discussed your behaviour with the other members of staff since you are clearly behaving inappropriate. So we decided to remove your comment. However Zeldo already gave you a warning and since this is your third post written in such an offensive way, it means that you are getting banned.
Insulting members of staff is definitely not a great idea.... nor is inappropriate behaviour in general...

Yes, yes I do. But Patience is a thing...
If you wont be patient, I wont fix anything either.
And dont talk about things you dont have any idea of as if they were the easiest thing in the world.
I have several other projects besides this one and a real life as well with a job, etc...
And the last thing I want to read after work and stuff s the comment of a little impatient child begging for attention.

That is just the line which says that there is an Error... I need the actual Error, please upload your Server Log to Pastebin or similiar.
