Basic description
You don't want to promote every user manually? You can't be 24h online to promote guests when they come for example at night? Then is this the best plugin to help you. The new guests have to enter a secret password wich is for example on you homepage in the rules, but you can also create a [Promote] sign wich the guests have to find in the map.
Supported Permission Systems:
- EssentialsGroupManager
- PermissionsEx
- bPermissions
- PermissionsBukkit
If you have an other Permission System please write it in the comments.

Posted May 18, 2012I love the idea of this plugin. Is there any way you could build into it a way to have multiple passwords? So that each password would promote a user to a different group?

Yes, of course it has an alias (/apply) but if you want i can add more. But every bukkit user can add own aliases in the bukkit.yml

Electric is asking if the command "/pw" can be changed to something else, like given an alias. So for example, I change "/pw" to "/p" in the config, save it and then restart the server. Now users can type "/p password" instead of "/pw password". I think its because there are some plugins that maybe use "pw" but I'm not sure.

Posted Apr 21, 2012I've noticed that on the permissions page the unlock permission node is listed as...
selfpromote.unlock.pw
it is actually...
selfpromote.pw.unlock
That may be the source of some of people's problems. :)

Posted Apr 20, 2012After attempting each way of promotion (and attempting all of the different permission nodes for the promotions) I still cannot have my users get promoted. It simply says they do not have permissions. Only OPs can use the promotion signs (I didn't test the /pw commands with OPs, but it is probably the same). Any suggestions? My permissions file is correct, I am using bPermissions.
