ShowCaseStandalone is like ShowCase but without the dependancies, and a more efficient way to create shops. With SCS, you can buy, sell, and display items, which float above blocks. You can use most of the major economy and permissions plugins with this, along with some special options for Towny.

Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Metric

This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:

A unique identifier
The server's version of Java
Whether the server is in offline or online mode
The plugin's version
The server's version
The OS version/name and architecture
The core count for the CPU
The number of players online
The Metrics version

Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

ShowCaseStandalone, still not brain surgery you can hold cobblestone and type

/scs sell this 64 1.57

you can type this too.

/scs sell cobblestone 64 1.57

of course that won't equal a total of 100 it will be 100.48 by the time you sell the entire stack. if you want the exact its 1.5625 instead of 1.57 but 1.57 is so much easier to type.

OH! Ok i see. Sorry bout that. Also, thank you for the quick reply and great plugin! I prefer commands over the setup assistant the other showcase plugin has. The commands are much clearer!

All shops are from the point of view of the shop. So Sell shops sell things to customers. Buy shops, buy things from customers. They are not from the point of view of the customer.

The commands for "Buy" and "Sell" are inverted for me. When I created a "Buy" shop that sold pork chops, it told me that I "Didn't have the item in my inventory," so I added the item into my inventory and then tried again and it sold the pork chop. Help please? This will be confusing for my users. Thanks! -Zach

Is there any chance that the tutorial mode from Showcase will be added to this plugin? We loved to use this to make help signs for users. Slab + floating signs = help. Or Slab + floating diamond gave a tip to earn money or another reward. etc. It's the only thing I'm still missing from the showcase features.

Thank you it works ! I'm sure I've tested it with this -scs.use permission, but it was before the 1.2.4 and the vault transition. Or perhaps it was because I didn't reload everything but PermissionsEX after changing the yml.
Why don't you make the scs.use perm restricted by default, like Essentials perms where I have to activate every single command I want to give to people. (I could ask the same thing on the lwc forum). I think it's confusing as we can't guess what perms is on by default.

edit, a exchange feature might be nice. (i.e showcase takes 15 grass blocks from player, and gives 1 diamond)

In your perms, you don't have a negative permission. you need to write:

- -scs.use

The first dash is the YML list, the second is the negative permission. You have it right for the "- -lwc.protect" perm. scs.use should be the same way to limit it.

I'm not going to do your work for you. I do have an import feature for the other showcase plugin ("/scs import showcase"). Make sure to copy your showcase.csv to the showcasestandalone directory. I added it to be nice, and won't support it if it malfunctions.

Is there a way I can make a shop sell and buy from just 1 stand, because that would really make it easier, than having a shop which just sells and one that just buys Hoping that I'm not just failing, xD

I can't manage to limit scs.use permission. Everybody can use a showcase even if I put a negative perm (-scs.use). Other permissions work (scs.manage, scs.create...).
What's wrong with my perms ?

how im able to import my shops from Showcase to ShowcaseStandalone?, i havent tryed something cuz my server have users every time so i have no time to test it.

That was in the original showcase early on. Unfortunately, mojang changed it so that you cant have it in the glass block. Its not something we could control.

VERY nice plugin. My compliments to the chefs for cooking up such a nice dish!

I don't have any issues with the functionality of anything in this plugin. I'm here because one of my users asked me to request a slight modification for purely cosmetic visualizations. He wants to be able to place a glass block on top of a shop and have it not eject the display item off to the side. He was going for the "display case" effect with the item for sale shown in the center of the glass block. (which, I must confess, I do agree that it would be a nice touch) :)
