ShowCaseStandalone is like ShowCase but without the dependancies, and a more efficient way to create shops. With SCS, you can buy, sell, and display items, which float above blocks. You can use most of the major economy and permissions plugins with this, along with some special options for Towny.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Metric
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

You can set the bulk amount in the config, then shift-click to buy that amount.

Like I said in my previous comment, world protection plugins need to add support for SCS. You should request support to the developer of that plugin (WorldGuard, etc.) as we do not currently have any plans.

Posted Sep 13, 2013Just out of curiosity and I tested this, what is stopping a player from showcasing an item anywhere in the world? showcasing an item doesn't use up the item so initially a player with one dirt can showcase every block he/she chooses to, this seems like a major oversight for any server, even ones with land protection as a lower rank can set display even inside someone's protected area, even spawns

We don't currently have any plans to add any protection support, however the protection plugins themselves can listen and cancel the shop creation event.

Unfortunately, that doesn't fit the whole aspect of the plugin, which is a shop plugin. That would also require a lot of extra code that is useless to the majority of users who use it for shops. However, you can ask a developer or do it yourself, just download the source from SVN and make the necessary changes there.

Posted Sep 13, 2013is there something like this or are you able to add something like this for pvp where items float ontop of blocks/slabs and people can run over it to pick it up, and the item would disapear for x time after they do it? trying to find something like that for my infected server, and this is the clossest thing I could fine, fyi this plugin looks really good, THANKS

You can search for it in the files (yaml-storage) in your plugin directory and delete it. It takes a long time if you got alot of shops, but that is the only way that I know without the /scs remove command.
But try removing the Essentials protect thingy first if you didn't did that already.

Posted Sep 12, 2013Hi! I accidentally set a showcase on a sell sign that was made with Essentials economy and I tried removing it using the /scs remove command, it won't work. Is there a way of removing the showcase?

You'll have to, until the dev build server is back up, manually remove the ' (single-quotes) from all 'true' and 'false' values in the config. If that doesn't make sense, I'll try and show you.

Posted Sep 12, 2013Hi, I'm having issues upgrading to the most recent version. I had the unlimited shop issue (saying something like "You're not allowed to use that item in a shop") and saw it was fixed in the most recent version. I upgraded, but the issue persists. I saw something in the changelogs about there needing to be a settings reset? or is there something I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

No. For now you'll have to use YAML, however there (should) be an easy command to switch over.
