ShowCaseStandalone is like ShowCase but without the dependancies, and a more efficient way to create shops. With SCS, you can buy, sell, and display items, which float above blocks. You can use most of the major economy and permissions plugins with this, along with some special options for Towny.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Metric
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Posted Jul 8, 2013Sorry for abandoning this plugin.
I had originally started working on another plugin since updating this one was getting a bit out of hand (I never really learnt how this plugin worked fully,) but I found that that plugin wasn't really do-able. I would like to come back and update the plugin again, but I had a moderator remove me from the developer list, and I would need keller to get on and add me back, which he seems to not get on at all.
If you guys want, I can update this plugin for 1.6.1/2, but I'm not sure how easy it will be (without being re-added as a developer), considering the BukkitDev TOS.

When you say it should be abandoned, are you saying that this plugin should be thrown out and forgotten about, or simply marked as "inactive" for a period of time? The way you're saying how it should be abandoned makes you sound hostile to this plugin (and possibly its developers).
And perhaps instead of us all asking for an update, we could all pick up a book on programming (in Java) and start learning so that one day, when a plugin we all love goes defunct, there'll be a community to maintain it. Rather than taking the chance that "some other developer" will continue development or make a "reloaded" version of the plugin. (I know maintaining plugins isn't a short, easy process that any programming newbie can do, but we all have to start learning somewhere.)

It should be abandoned. The developers don't reply to messages or tickets. I understand they have lives but how hard is it to simply post in these comments 'going away for a while' or something like that to let us know its going to be inactive for a little while. I agree with Maddyn99 and Bajansam.

Can i ask you why you say this is "abandoned"? Do you know the developers?
This is not abandoned until its changed to abandoned or the developers say it is abandoned. The developers have lives outside too you know? :D
This plugin was working in 1.5.2 but does not work in 1.6.1 and update is required thats a fact but all you can do is wait and not share invalid information and advertise other plugins.

Posted Jun 29, 2013For such a great plugin its hard to believe that its not kept up.
Anyone have a permission list for this plugin? Ive found a partial of scs.chest.buy scs.chest.sell scs.admin scs.create.unlimited
Also any clue on why i cant make unlimited chests? every time I try to make one i get the error that I cant place that item into a showcase. Ive put the unlimted permissions in as well as the admin perm and I still get the error.
