ShowCaseStandalone

ShowCaseStandalone is like ShowCase but without the dependancies, and a more efficient way to create shops. With SCS, you can buy, sell, and display items, which float above blocks. You can use most of the major economy and permissions plugins with this, along with some special options for Towny.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Posted Apr 6, 2013I think I've found two bugs with b538_rc-build (which may both be related to each other)
/scs remove no longer works for anyone but ops.
I have the "scs.remove" permission node allowed for all users. When I try to do /scs remove on my own shop, it works fine (I'm an Op) but when a regular user tries to do /scs remove on their own shop, it says "Only the owner or an admin can remove a showcase."
I've tried de-opping myself to make sure people are doing it right, and I can confirm that when I'm not an Op I get the same error message, and when I left-click on the shop it reports that the owner is in fact me.
The other problem I've encountered is that even as an Op I am unable to remove other peoples' shops. I do /scs remove, I right-click on the shop, SCS tells me that the shop was removed successfully (and the little floaty icon disappears) and everything *looks* as though the shop is gone, but when I do /scs reload the shop comes right back.

Can you not convert ConfigurationSerializable to a string and back?

Not at the moment.
We will reimplement it, as soon as we find a suitable way.
Does anybody know if there is a default way from bukkit
that allows you to store "ConfigurationSerializable" to sql?
If so, sql would be reimplemented really fast.

A bit of an exaggeration...
We've gone from FFSS -> YAML, and removed sql_scs.

Why was SQL support REMOVED... There is no reason to remove SQL, as it is a very efficient and widely used database format. This needs to be added back immediately. Why is this plugin changing database formats every other build anyway, this is extremely frustrating when you are attempting to hook into these databases from an external source, which is now impossible, due to the lack of a website being able to hook into YAML storage through a port, thus the need for SQL compatability....

Posted Apr 2, 2013Okay so I just installed this plugin, and it's working well.
I was just wondering where I could find the permission nodes to allow my users to create their own shops.
