ShowCaseStandalone is like ShowCase but without the dependancies, and a more efficient way to create shops. With SCS, you can buy, sell, and display items, which float above blocks. You can use most of the major economy and permissions plugins with this, along with some special options for Towny.

Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Metric

This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:

A unique identifier
The server's version of Java
Whether the server is in offline or online mode
The plugin's version
The server's version
The OS version/name and architecture
The core count for the CPU
The number of players online
The Metrics version

Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Not to happy with this new update,

I'm using showcasestandalone just for the /scs display

and using chestshop for the buying and selling

i have been using these two for awhile now for maybe 3 months or 4

and now when i place a sign on the block that has the display it says

seane96 DISPLAY Inv: 0 Price: 0.0

Now i don't like this i have looked in the config and tryed to see if it was something you can enable and disable there there isn't anything there

so i delete the showcasestandalone folder and restart the server same thing happens

Could you tell me what to do or recommend a new plugin

Thanks for your reply, at the moment i cant provide the folder as we have completely wiped it several times to see if it was something we missed, i will generate a new config and do some tests and then create show showcases so i am able to provide the ffss-storage folder in a ticket, in the mean time you may be interested to see this error code we received about a minute after booting the server from a restart:

Could you create a ticket for that, and also upload the (content of the) folder, which
is placed at "plugins/ShowCaseStandalone/ffss-storage"? So I would be able to
have a closer look what isn`t working ;)

Our server runs the latest version of showcasestandalone, but after every restart that occurs every item that we have placed gets erased, we have generated a new config and this still does not fix the issue, any suggestions?

I get how to make an unlimited shop, and get how to change the owner, but wasn't aware that you could set the owner of a shop to a bank account. Being able to set a bank account as owner is not listed in "/scs help".

It seems to be working though so I guess I'll leave it be.

Afterwards "/scs owner @<bankal-acc>" could be usefull.

Is it possible to create something along the lines of an "admin shop" or "server shop"

By that I mean a shop that has an unlimited supply of something (buying, selling, or both) and doesn't rely on a players funds to decide if it can buy or sell?

Basically we want to have shops for a few items that are sold/bought by the "server" with unlimited supply and unlimited funds so that we don't have to worry about refilling it, checking to see if an "account" has funds, and can basically leave it unattended unless we need to move or replace it.

Pushed b143 - which I marked as recommended, as it seems that we reached a point where the builds are very stable.

Adding the signs is nice, but can you make it an option that can be turned off in the config please? I use different signs on my shops, and your keep overriding them.

Actually it is protected.
Did you delete them with WorldEdit? Because WE uses another way to "delete" the blocks.

Why isnt the block the showcase is upon protected? It should be protected auto protected if theres a showcase on top of it by EVERYONE even the showcase owner.. It causes a lot of bugs when that bottom block gets deleted the showcase flies about everywhere.

"com/miykeal/showCaseStandalone/ShowCaseStandalone" is an old path which,
is called by BKCommonLib - or another plugin of bergerkiller.
Are you sure you updated the BKCommonLib?

If you copy the ShowCase file into the ShowCaseStandalone directory,
you can import it with "/scs import showcase" ;)

In the config is a entry like "StacToMaxAmount", set it to "false" ;)

How the heck do we get it to NOT automatically stack items within the shop? I don't want my users to have stacked potions/armor/items. I have tried updating to the newest build along with changing the UseMaxStackAmount to true as I read that in one of the change logs.

Love the plugin, but can't use it yet due to that issue.

Actually, I have been reluctant to upgrade from showcase to this due to not being able to convert existing showcases, but there is actually a really nice person who has been unofficially updating the original showcase to work in recent versions, and I am hooked on using it. I would recommend this for new users, but if you have an original showcase you would like to hang on to, I would recommend just using his unofficial updates. They work fine, honestly. The creator of Showcase was going to create a Showcase 2 as well, but that page hasn't been updated in ages either, so I assume the entire thing was scrapped.
