Save Me Backup
What can I use this for?
Save Me Backup is a plugin to zip up any file on your server so you can:- Roll back your map
- Restore Corrupted Files
- Make things apear as if they never happened
What Save Me Backup can do:
- Interval based backups
- Daily Backups at given time (GMT)
- Select what directories you want (Saves all of the contents of the directory)
- Select what files you want
- Backups are kept on a rolling basis
Commands:
- /savemebackup hourly|daily Can be run by an opped payer or from the consel to trigger a backup and select what the plugin to treat it as.(Version 2.0 and Later) Permission Node: SaveMeBackup.Save

keepday.zip
keepday.zip.1
keepday.zip.2
And how ever many interval backups you specify but yes it auto removes old backups

Yes this plugin will backup any directory of file specify in the config I find it incredibly usefull on my server

One of the things we wanted to do was ftp to a remote server but we couldn't find a way to do so, you would have to have a special third party ftp client that downloads and removes the files

Posted May 8, 2013when i set keepday: 2, the backups that are older than 2 days will automatically be deleted, right?

Posted May 8, 2013Any chance of an option to zip and ftp to a remote server? I've been looking for something for months and none of the ones out there actually work. Or they only backup maps and not plugins etc.

The main release is awaiting approval. You can download it at the github link and it supports all versions 1.2.5 through 1.4.7 at least that is what I have confirmed so far.
