Sajicek's TabColor and UpColor

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

TabColor

A simple plugin, that makes colored names in TAB. Sajicek's TabColor is permission based plugin. It means that you put permission in your permissions plugin(PEX,BukkitPermissions etc) and you will get (after reloading the permission plugin and reloadlist command) colored names in tab and above player head.

Instalation

Download the plugin and stop your server.
Put the file TabColor to plugins folder.
Make groups.
Make permissions.
Start the server.
Enjoy colored names :)

Commands

/tabcolor reload - Reload the plugin
/tabcolor reloadlists - Reload names in tab and name above players head
/tabcolor help - Show the help
/tabcolor version - Version of plugin

Permissions

tabcolor.cmd.reload - Reload command
tabcolor.cmd.help - Help command
tabcolor.cmd.version - Version command
tabcolor.cmd.listsreload - Reloadlists command
tabcolor.showMessage - Show welcome message to player even if show is turned off in config file

Permissions about color was deleted - you can have them like a group.

Permissions for group is listed on groups page.

If you have a '*' permission in PEX you will get a color, what is defined in config

Config

OpTabColor: '&c' # A Ops tab color
OpUpColor: '&c'  # A Ops up color
show: 'true' # If true then welcome message will show to everybody

Awesome plugin. Any chance you could add prefix support? I like to have a little star in front of staff positions, would be nice to have it on tab and on player name above head as well.

Hey sajicek! I have a little problem with the color and effect on the same name (in tab and above the player's head). So, I make the permissions like that : http://puu.sh/7w6qY.png And in Tab, I look like that : http://puu.sh/7w6s8.png (for lupiko's name)

Help!!! what do I do! I can't get the tab color names out of tab now! I removed all my plugins, still there. Help someone please!

StreetkillnHD - Are you using some inheritance? If yes you must negate the perm(like a moderators have a green tab color and you inherit it to admins, if you don't want to admins have green too you must remove the green color perm in admins and set the color you want)

of bukkit? im using the latest version. 1.7.2 or the plugin? im using the newest.

im using this http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/bpermissions/ to set perms

the names arnt getting colored. they are grey... i set the permission for the groups admin

- TabColor.DRed

moderator

- TabColor.Dblue

also entering reloadtab i get http://puu.sh/70pmv.png

also changing the op color is still light red..

Jblob - If you want Itallic, Bold or Underlined name use: TabColor.Itallic/Bold/Underline + TabColor.Color (ex. If I have a permissions TabColor.Bold and TabColor.Red I have a bold red name)

Jblob - For now you are only able to add one effect(itallic,bold,underline). In next update i try to make what you want :).

I would really like to see this plugin have a name tag changer. Also I was wondering how I get italics and a color.
