Posted Nov 30, 2012All training signs work for me and my players the only sign I cant get to work is "=[reset]= warding" . Also I have started on a trading post and the buy signs work fine but what about sell signs? I did notice there is a sell multiplier in the confg so I tried =[sell]= but that doesn't seem to work.
@Antideath100 You should try with no other plugins only Saga to make sure another plugin is not conflicting with your signs.

This is a bug and I have no idea how this is happening. It is really hard to pinpoint, because it works fine for me. Try typing something on the third line and see if the sign works this way.
Can other people set training signs?
Do you get any warnings/severes from Saga when you start up/reload?
Is the server running on an non-english windows?
Is the client running on an non-english windows?
Are you using non-vanilla client?
Did you edit the config files?
Can you PM me the IP so I can check it for myself? I might need access to the console so Skype/msn would also be useful.

Posted Nov 29, 2012id don't know if this is a bug but i really hate this: when i'm tipping on the sign:
[train]
strength
the =[train]= line from the sign becomes red and the strength becomes attribute like that:
[TRAIN]
attribute
i tried luck precision and toughness but it still not works. only willpower works. can you solve it? or tell me what i'm doing wrong? please i really love this plugin.

The spawning point is random. There is no way to change it.

Saga does it every hour. It just notifies that Sagas clock is running. It's useless info, so I will remove it.

Posted Nov 26, 2012Since installing this I have been getting [Server] INFO Hour tick for 1 registered instances. Everything seems to be working that I can tell but I have never seen that message so I thought I should let you know. I am sure it is from Saga though since it stopped when I removed it from my test server.

Didn't know that it hooked into Vault. I thought you made it hook into Essentials Economy somehow.

What do you mean by "Tough the addition of vault to this plugin would be nice."? Saga already hooks into Vault.
There are endless numbers of econ plugins out there. I don’t have time to hook into all of them. The point of Vault is that it does the hooking for me. Saga hooks into Vault and Vault hooks into whatever econ plugin you are using.
I'm not sure if I can add permission nodes to ranks.

Does this mean that if you have essentials eco then Saga will hook into it and then if you have vault the essentials eco will then hook into vault? Then that's pretty cool.
Tough the addition of vault to this plugin would be nice.
And ive been tinkering around with this plugin for a while and a cool addition would be if you could config the ranks to you could add permission nodes to the different ranks somehow. That would be a pretty cool addition.

You need a econ plugin for Vault to hook into. Vault is not an econ plugin, It's a interface. If you have essentials, then saga will directly hook into its econ. Do those other econ plugins hook into some kind of econ plugin? If so then which one you have?
I'm guessing you mean build points. Yeah, that would be a good idea.
Saga is too large for me to fully handle alone atm, so I concentrate on essential and/or easy to add features now. If you have something, then let me know, maybe Its an easy feature to add.
And thanks for using Saga. If you see players complaining about overpowered ranks/roles/attributes/whatever, then be sure to let me know.

Posted Nov 23, 2012Was looking at the latest commits on github and I cant wait for the next build. Couple things, I think it would be really helpful for /sstats 2 to list points required for unset buildings. Also the economy doesn't seem to be detected by other plugins even though I have vault. Do I still need an econ plugin and Saga will tie to it?.
I had more but I forget now, its been a hectic week at work so I haven't had a bunch of time to play with it, my players seem to like it though. I just started a new map and replaced mcmmo & factions with this after using those for about 2 years now so I will probably be bugging you with feature requests, questions and issues quite a bit.

Storage areas refill at certain daytime, you can configure at which one.
Leveling is done every minute and saga has its own clock that counts those minutes, so this is not affected. Everything that happens at certain daytime will be affected. Also things that will be affected are wages.
There already is an option to nerf spawner exp. Both for exp orbs and saga exp.
experience.json:
"spawnerEncPointMult":0.5,
"spawnerExpMult":0.01
tells to multiply mc exp (used for enchantment) by 0.5 and saga exp by 0.01.
Also, timefold might work ok. You need to test it first though. Saga just needs world time to hit a certain range of values. Set few storage areas with different restock times and see if they work.

Posted Nov 22, 2012Also can you add an option so players don't get xp from mobs that come from spawners I already block xp orbs and items from those mobs ad just want to try and make sure players cant cheat these levels that way. Unless it already does this im not sure.

Posted Nov 22, 2012I noticed somewhere it says that storage areas are filled midday and was wondering if settlement leveling is also based of minecraft time because on my server I have signs setup so users can pay to skip night and I was wondering how much that will affect things. I was thinking of replacing the signs with http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/timefold/ but that would allso be a problem if everything is based off minecraft time instead of just a set timer.

Posted Nov 20, 2012Just homes would be great. Thank you for the name length addition and I will just wait for the next update before I try and mess with claims then, I just didnt think 250 chunks would be enough for a few of our towns.
