Saga

Saga is designed to be a complete solution for RPG servers. Saga allows players to form factions for pvp, establish settlements with numerous buildings, develop abilities and unlock skills. Here is a small list of some of features saga will bring to your server:
- Faction Features
- Players can create factions and invite other players.

I know he was talking about for configuration, not commands, the wiki has nothing for configuration. The wiki doens't help you understand everything, only commands for base configuration, I asked him to try to figure it out, I guess he posted it.
I cannot locate where the paygrade is for settlements/factions to change, I've only noticed the weights and distribution of it amoungst ranks.

He is having the same issue as those of us on the server I belong to are having.
For myself it seems to go where I look no matter where I create the storage, it goes on the block i am looking at, it worked that way for the farm. For the tree farm, once i rectified the situation (I started to get "Opened item storage"), I stopped getting wood all together.
The problem with the tree farm not being in a chest is it, at least for us, after a while stops generating wood (for it seems to be able to expand so far). As long as one is harvesting it, it is no problem, but to test it we let multiple ones go, and they just stopped expanding (giving us blocks) despite it telling us that it produced, some of the blocks overflowed into the chest, but that stopped too after about 8 blocks, and it was only dark wood and regular wood that overflowed, the birch and jungle were consumed. Point being is wood was not generated when it said it was, and the containers were in the centers of the plots.
On another note it would be nice if furnaces could be protected (as chests are), and for other objects that can be used (doors, buttons, etc.) to be configured (preferably by players per town, but even if it was just in the config files it'd be nice). It is sad some stranger not in a town can come up and access chests (and furnaces, dispensers, droppers, etc.) that are not in a building, if there was something configurable for this to prevent it, or even offer it in select buildings to outsides (maybe a building that outsiders can use, aka a building smelter, that does nothing but have no use protections unlike all other land in a settlement), saga would be a bit more of a win, for as of now, the direction of the servers plugin(s) for protections is starting to lean away from SAGA despite it's extensive and awesome features.
Finally, it would be awesome if there was some text on how to edit the config files. For instance there are various effects, maybe access to furnaces and other use commands are already configurable, but they are all text, and I do not know if I can say "chest and build protect and place to buy and attribute training" (not that I would create such a building, just trying to get the point across of customization of what things can do, and having documentation to be given an idea as to how to do it, for I know how to create buildings, but not custom effect ones. Is it as easy has having multiple effect lines?

Posted Jul 23, 2013Is it possible to make it so attackers during a siege can use tnt? Because the defender can just trap themselves inside a building and hide in there the entire siege.
Is it possible to make it so the faction has complete control of the settlement after they successfully siege it?

A storage is created one block in front of you. Make sure the chest is a storage chest. When you open it it'll say "Opened item storage". If it doesn't say that then you're not creating it correctly.

Thanks! There are configuration to form factions/settlements however in the code these are need used anywhere after they are set. Is this feature in development? Currently anyone can form a settlement or faction ignoring the minimum formation limit.
Loving this plugin still, there's a server going live to the public later today :D

When my lumber camp produces wood they stack around my chest instead of getting into it.
My farm says it produces different things but the storage is empty.
I only got saga running.

Signs take time to "suck up" resources/money from the warehouse/bank. This is made to stop people from emptying the whole warehouse/bank with few seconds.

Posted Jul 17, 2013I am in love with this plugin! It's not even version 1.0 and it already feels very well polished. I do have one minor gripe with the way it doesn't announce the owner of a home chunk when moving between different home chunks. I guess this is because the system checks to see if the type of the chunk changes, rather than if the chunk has a different resident from the last chunk.
Other than that minor issue it's been a joy to play around with and explore. Keep up the amazing work!
