It's not updated to work with 1.5.2 yet, and probably won't be even considered to continue working on until 1.6

Owner's been busy apparently, so I'm gonna say that Saga won't be updated until 1.6 comes out.

Well the good thing is that you should have the option to disable it.
It really depends on the type of server. Saga isn't meant for free building all over. Saga is meant for strategy, planning and goals. Also you can edit the speed in which you gain claims so there is already a solution to that.
To Sagas loading problem that an another issue which has nothing to do with my idea and if it of course conflicts well, then hopefully there is a solution to that.

That would really suck for smaller settlements. When I made mine, I was marking up chunks to plan for future buildings and pathways before I could even claim. I also have my settlement, although heavily expanded now, connected to the water, and we have a port and numerous boats near but not in the settlement itself. I expect that there's maybe 10 or so chunks in that area alone that we would need to claim.
Secondly, I don't know how they would implement that. It seems that whenever the server goes offline, for either a refresher or some other reason, Saga forgets what blocks players have placed prior to the down time, meaning that your idea would be void if the server resets daily, like most do.
For a large server, I think expansion is just generally too slow for this idea to become a good one, and the coding would probably take a lot of time away from this already massive project.

Posted May 4, 2013I finally found a feature that I would love to see in this plugin.
Degredation.
To encourage people to build within settlement borders and to make the idea of temporary shelters useable. There should be a degredation feature where all placed blocks will disappear X minutes after placement outside settlement border. This will add so many possibilities and also make it much more viable in the long run than having to disallow people to build in the wilderness. :)

They're not passives. They require a certain condition for them to work. And the archers on my server are 100% positive.
No, the reset signs don't go red. But when I try to use them it says something like "1*ricochet is already reset!" when have all three levels. I tried 2* and 3* as well, no difference. I had it tested with every ability, and that made no difference either.
Also I've noted an important bug: When the server is reset, it seems saga forgets ownership of blocks. I say this because users with high luck skill have been placing blocks, and when the server resets, those blocks are applicable to the luck skill, meaning users are able to duplicate any block. I've caught a few people doing this on my server, and I've also tried it on another server and confirmed it. Is there any way to patch this? I have my server reset daily and I'm afraid of people abusing this (one already has with diamond, he got a warning) a lot.
How do you set up both arenas? I should note that I can't make more than one of any building but homes.
Also, I was trying to set up a non-saga pvp arena. It didn't work because either people were in the same faction, or were not in a faction at all. Is there a way to temporarily disable pvp within an area, or disable Saga in a separate world?
I know I'm asking a lot, but please try to reply to everything. I really appreciate your replies and how quick you've been.

You sure they don't work. They are passives after all.
Do reset signs go red?
Arena just records kills. Crumble is similar to spleef, but its automatic.

No no, force bow does work. Backstab and Ricochet don't. We have the latest version but it's still not working. I don't think it's a simple case of not activating, I think it's a case of user stats not recognizing you have it.
Also, ability reset signs will not work for any class.
And please explain how the arena and crumble arena works.

You sure force bow isn't working? Maybe the effect is too small. I don't have time to fire up my setup to test it atm. Try downloading the latest version from the website.
In experience.json there are
Just double those if you want double points for gained exp.

I have all 3 class-related buildings in my settlement. I still haven't found the issue but I'm going to try to reset the skills and re-learn them. Contrarily, Force Bow does show up in stats as learned and does work versus mobs and players.
For changes, I'd basically like to know if the rates of which points can be earned (attribute, ability, claims and building) could be modified, to perhaps double or triple of their current, for events and things. And also for individuals can their stats be altered or the growth rate increased/decreased as well?

Posted Apr 21, 2013Sorry, I'm a bit occupied with school.
@XiroInfinity I think its because you need to have a bowyer building in your settlement.
You can modify almost anything. What you want to change exactly?

Posted Apr 21, 2013I noticed an error in the archer class:
The skills Ricochet and Backstab can be learned and unlearned without an issue. But no matter what the level is, it doesn't show up in /stats 1 or 2, and does no activate. The system notifies you what level you buy but that doesn't mean anything. Ability points do get used up in the process, sadly.
Any suggestions to fix it?

Is it possible to modify these values, say if you want production to increase quickly (and make sure people don't get bored)?
Additionally, what benefits are given by sieges and winning another person's settlement?

Settlement gets 0.01 claim points per minute if 10 people are online. 0, if none and in-between value if 1-9 players online. For building points it is 0.0054 instead of 0.01.
Items are a bit more complicated. Each role generates 1 work point each minute. Those points are spent on generating resources. This is done so more players=more resources. Role points are building specific. For example, miner role will give points to mine and refinery. It's calibrated so a mine should generate 1-2 iron_ore per day if one miner is online. You can look into buildings.json for more specifics (reqWork).

There isn't a list online atm. You should see all buildings under /shelp or /sstats ingame. Roles ranks can be found under /shelp and /fhelp
You can train your attributes up to 50. Having a role/rank increases that cap. Warrior rank gives + to strength etc. You also get certain abilities if you have a role/rank.

I am also unable to find anything like that. I'd also like to know the rates for getting points and items in a settlement in contrast to players online.
