Okay, thank you I've done the signs, manually upgraded my attribute points, upgraded my precision to 16 and I now have 1 ability point. I don't know why but I can't seem to buy dart I with it, I've tried and I don't know what to do. If you could help me out I'd be quite grateful. I'm really sorry I ask so much of you but I can't seem to do some of these things. Please and thank you,

The pages here might be outdated. See the sign names under /phelp. For abilities its =train_abil= and =train_attr= for attributes.
You first need to train the ability to at least to 1/3.

Posted Mar 21, 2013Hey, sorry to bother you again but I have a problem with some signs. I'm trying to make a TRAIN sign. I managed to make a RECHARGE sign but on the pages I believe it said "=[RECHARGE]=" however, it was actually "=RECHARGE=". I imagined the TRAIN would be the same but I've tried all possible ways I can think of: "=TRAIN=" and "=[TRAIN]=" but that's about it. Is there another way it should be done or is this an error? I also have the same problem with RESET signs as well. Thank you for reading.
I'm also having problems with abilities. I'm attempting to perform "dart" and it's not working. I may have attempted other abilities however, I'm not too sure. I did use admin commands to give myself attributes points to test out the skills of the plugin and it didn't go to plan. Thank you again for reading.

Settlements are more of a group project. If you have a small server then people should know each other well enough to not grief that much. And those initial 4 claims should be enough for small houses.
But if you really want to scale it then you just increase the amount of building points and claim points gained per minute.
You run into a problem when it comes to resource generation by buildings, but in that case roles can be set strategically.

Posted Mar 21, 2013I can see how that would be a major problem! And I suppose other alternatives would either have you really relying on C2 or incorporating your own NPC code...
I'm experimenting with Saga, and trying to find cool ways to make it scale really well on a small server beyond editing config files. I'm assuming most settlements (i'm not even thinking about factions yet) would have 1 player, sometimes 2, almost never 3. I'm not asking for you to scale the game for small servers, but I will accept any brilliant ideas from anyone out there!

There is no easy way to do it, because I need to compensate for the fact that NPCs don't log in. And they also can have the same name.

Posted Mar 20, 2013Hey again :)
I'm trying to use Citizens 2 to try and create an NPC that is actually part of a settlement, and can be assigned a role. So I'm trying something like "/npc create Jimbo
type PLAYER". When I try to /sinvite Jimbo, Saga doesn't recognize poor Jimbo at all, not to mention that he couldn't accept an invitation! This could very well be intended functionality, but I would love it if there were a way to have NPCs fill roles within a settlement!

Okay, nice! Although, I can't find the download link for that version. Can you please make sure that it's available?
Later report: Okay well, I found the latest version so don't worry about that. I have a new problem though, I experience unbearable amounts of lag using the new version. I don't know whether it's temporary or maybe essentials would be conflicting by chance but the lag's really bad. I don't suppose you have a solution do you? I'd appreciate a response as soon as possible, please and thank you.
Even later report: I didn't see your later comments on the situation due to timing and everything however, the update's sorted everything, thank you. I just like to say that I'm sorry if my constant comments have been an inconvenience but I really appreciated how you've helped me so thank you very much.

That's a bug on my part. Fixed it in Saga v0.9.2.
Bukkit has some faulty logic. My mistake for not testing it properly.

Yes, that would be nice, please. I'd really appreciate it if /ssetspawn at some block.

I still want to keep the random nature of it.
I can make it so you /ssetspawn at some block, but the actual spawn area is everything that is adjacent and has room.

Posted Mar 19, 2013I was wondering if you could make it possible to add a specific home point to a block within a town square chunk. I'd also be grateful if you considered making it so that players don't spawn on the highest block possible so indoor spawns are possible. I really appreciate it if you consider and perhaps even add these features. Please and thank you.

Depends on how many players/settlements/factions. I remember reading that Essentials has an option to see memory usage.

Just claim it as a normal settlement and '/aenableopt no_delete'.

Posted Mar 19, 2013I'm just setting up my first rpg server and after many hours of research and comparison Saga seems like the perfect solution for me, so keep up the extraordinary work!
Now for my question... I would like to set up an NPC settlement that wouldn't be able to be taken over and would have no player owner. Is this currently possible?
