SafeEdit
SafeEdit - WorldEdit 10+ million blocks with NO lag!

Tired of your server crashing with large world edits? Is your server being bogged down by lag when making large cuts or pastes? Well worry no more! SafeEdit is a WorldEdit mod that allows you to set the speed in which your builds are WorldEdited.
Description
SafeEdit works by taking WorldEdit commands and executing them a certain number of blocks per tick. The speed in which blocks are WorldEdited can be set by either typing a number after the command, (ex: paste 1000) or by setting the number in the config and using WorldEdit as you normally would. If you don't type a number after your command, SafeEdit will default to the number set in the config.
Now supports all region types!

Now that you mention it, I did replace 2 glass which isn't even part of the SafeEdit commands. If it helps, it was a 1 block thick 200x200 grass plane minus some blocks that turned into dirt from buildings on top of them..

That is exactly what it does right now :)
The only exception is the undo command.

Posted Apr 13, 2013Do you think you can make it default that safeedit is used? and that it uses the default settings in the config? I have admins on my server who like worldedit and they edit too much at once adn itll be nice to have no lag while they are editing!

I might do that at some point, it's not a high priority change.

Posted Apr 12, 2013When trying to change 40,000 grass blocks to glass, my client became unresponsive and the platform was not entirely turned to glass. Maybe if I was patient I could have waited for my client to respond but I force quit Minecraft after about 30 seconds. This image shows the pattern of grass left by doing replace grass glass on the entire 200x200 platform: http://imgur.com/U4ap6te

Oh I see, what if you made your own command like: sundo (Safe Undo.)
It will then pick the number that you you entered for the safe world edit command.

Technically i could do that, but that would remove the ability to undo regular worldedit edits. So I am most likely not going to do that.

Posted Apr 9, 2013Really cool plugin you have going here. I was messing around with it trying to set drops and I couldn't figure out how to make them drop XP orbs. It seems that if you set a custom drop for a mob they will no longer drop XP.
