What is Safe Creeper
---
Control creepers, Withers, EnderDragons, Enderman, TNT, Fireballs and a lot more!
With Safe Creeper you can control creeper explosions and other things like, fireballs, TNT, Enderman and a lot of other things, you can set if a creeper explosions destroys blocks. You can set if Zombie's can break down doors. You can also set a lot of other things, the possibilities are almost endless! A few other examples are that you can set up if players are able to use TNT blocks, if creepers will explode above the surface and underneath they wont, set if Enderman can place and break blocks, even if they can clone blocks, explosion sounds, smoke effects and a lot of more things. The plugins is fully configurable and it has multi world support. This is a must have for most server administrators.
Example Video
---
This is an video witch explains the config file system of an older version of Safe Creeper, it should work very similair with the current version. This video also shows you some features from Safe Creeper:
Features
---
This is a small list of features witch Safe Creeper can provide for your server. If you want to see the full list, and a list of planned features, visit this page: Page: Features

- Get full control of the Wither and EnderDragon bosses!
- Enderman support, set if enderman can place and break blocks, also set if they can clone blocks (get blocks but don't remove them from the world)
- Multi World support

- Explosion smoke effect

- Set if creepers will be powerd when they hit by lightning
External Connections
---
Safe Creeper makes some connections to external servers. One of these connections is to dev.bukkit.org itself. Safe Creeper uses this connection to check whether there are any updates available. Safe Creeper is able to download these updates automatically from the dev.bukkit.org servers. Since Safe Creeper 1.5.2.3, Safe Creeper is also posting anonymous statistics to statistics.timvisee.com. This post request contains little information about the plugin and the server it´s running on. This request contains the version of Craft Bukkit, the version number of Safe Creeper, and the amount of online players, this post request may also contain additional information coming from Safe Creeper itself, like the amount of Creeper´s nerfed by Safe Creeper. A server address is not included because the statistics system is anonymous. The Safe Creeper statistics system will send the server´s address if enabled in the configuration file. This statistics system has been implemented to give people the ability to see how many servers Safe Creeper is running on. And to give an overview of the global usage of certain Safe Creeper features. All these systems could be disabled in the configuration file. Safe Creeper does not connect to any other external server than the two described above.

Yes you are right, I had planned to write documentation for it, but I never really finished it, sadly.
Down here there's a little example about how to work with the 'Locations' for y coordinates;
Again, sorry for the non documented locations stuff, I'll try to write some documentation soon.
Btw using this locations stuff you can also enable/disable stuff inside mob arena's, PVP arena's, soon cuboid and worldedit areas, and more.

Posted Feb 11, 2013How do you set the "locations" like If I want creepers to explode under the y cordinate 45 but not above it?
I have searched and searched but the explanations and tutorials are all outdated nothing explains the "locations". I have tried "45" "1-45" "45-126" true and false on enabled. Nothing works.

Hello,
The console log looks perfectly fine, no errors in there. So you think the issue has been solved? Great!

Hello,
I was just asking myself, is this the only error popping up in your console? Because if Safe Creeper crashes on start up caused by any error it won't block the Creepers anyway. In the code nothing seems to be wrong. Also, on my personal server no problems occur while executing this command.
May I ask if you have the regulair Bukkit server and NOT a Tekkit server for example, because it might not work on Tekkit or something similair. Also, if you have Bukkit installed are you running CraftBukkit-1.4.7-R1.0 or higher, if not you can't use the newest versions of Safe Creeper cause they're not supported for older Bukkit versions, then you should use a version earlier released build for the CraftBukkit version you are using.
Also, I took a look at the skyblock plugin you where using, but there doesn't seem to be anything conflicting with Safe Creeper in it, you should really check your Bukkit version. Maybe you should even give it a try using the newest Safe Creeper version 1.3.6.7 or maybe 1.3.6.8 at the time you're reading this reply.
Btw, if you don't know what Bukkit version you are using, simply use '/ver' in-game ;)

Posted Feb 10, 2013Safe Creeper v1.3.6.7 - Custom health ...
Safe Creeper 1.3.6.7 has been released. With this update you can give players custom health amounts, for example, you can give players 50 health when they re-spawn instead of the default maximum of 20 HP. Also, some other features have been added. This update also contains 2 little bug fixes. As always, it's recommended to update your Safe Creeper to the newest version.
Important Note: This version requires Bukkit-1.4.7-R1.0 or higher for this update. Lower versions won't work and will cause a huge wall of errors in the console!
Download
Because the Bukkit administrators need to validate the new plugin files, the download probably isn't available yet on this page. We highly recommend you to download the file from Bukkit or my (timvisee's) website:
Download link: http:timvisee.com/130
All versions: http:timvisee.com/projects/bukkit/safe-creeper/downloads/
How to update Safe Creeper from 1.3.6.6 or lower
Important! Different than before: If you have Safe Creeper version 1.3.6.6 installed simply use the command '/sc installupdate' to automatically install the update. If it doesn't work or when you have another version of Safe Creeper running, do the steps bellow: It's very easy to update Safe Creeper, the only thing you've to do is update the SafeCreeper.jar file. All your config files are automatically updated as soon as you restart the Safe Creeper plugin with the new .jar file. Also, all the new features are automatically added to your config files, so there's no need to fully set up all the config files again!
How to install Safe Creeper 1.3.6.7
If you haven't installed an earlier version of Safe Creeper on your server you've to do the following to install Safe Creeper on your server. The first thing you've to do is download the files of Safe Creeper 1.3.6.7. Inside this downloaded .zip file is a SafeCreeper.jar file. You need to place this file into your plugins folder of your server. Make sure you've shut down your server first. Then you also need to copy the Safe Creeper (from the downloaded .zip file) into your plugins folder, because this folder contains all the config files. If you are not able to add this folder you don't have to copy them. Safe Creeper will automatically generate it's config files if they aren't available on start up. Although I highly suggest to copy this folder if you are able to. After this you can make your changes in the config files if you want and you can start up your server again.
Change log for 1.3.6.7

Hi,
Yeah, I has to be caused by some other plugin you have installed, but I don't know which one I'm very sorry, although I'll try to troubleshoot the problem again.
Also, about the fire that burns forever, that's not a bug. That's caused by Minecraft itself. The problem is that the file would burn for a while because the fuel won't dissapear. Although, the fire will extinguish after a few minutes, the reason that the fire was still burning in my server, was because once players leave the area the fire is burning, that part of the world will unload, then when a player joins there or walks towards there, the world will load again but the fire will still burn cause it won't process anything around there while that part of the world is unloaded. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say ;)

Posted Feb 6, 2013This is my plugin list:
Update:
I have now tested this on your sever (with help of a nice player *eent*) and i was not able to reconstruct the bug that i have.
Update 2
If i change to EnableBlockFire: false:
Then the fire behaves same as on your server. ( The fire dies after some time *1- min or so* )
But if i set fire on top of a wood, then it behaves like netherrack and burns forever tho. (Even in your server)
Update:
The fire i placed on top of wood on your server burns even today...
So something is wrong here..

Hello,
May I ask what server version you are using? Please use the command /ver in the console and send the version number to me. That helps a lot.
Thanks in advance,
