What is Safe Creeper
---
Control creepers, Withers, EnderDragons, Enderman, TNT, Fireballs and a lot more!
With Safe Creeper you can control creeper explosions and other things like, fireballs, TNT, Enderman and a lot of other things, you can set if a creeper explosions destroys blocks. You can set if Zombie's can break down doors. You can also set a lot of other things, the possibilities are almost endless! A few other examples are that you can set up if players are able to use TNT blocks, if creepers will explode above the surface and underneath they wont, set if Enderman can place and break blocks, even if they can clone blocks, explosion sounds, smoke effects and a lot of more things. The plugins is fully configurable and it has multi world support. This is a must have for most server administrators.
Example Video
---
This is an video witch explains the config file system of an older version of Safe Creeper, it should work very similair with the current version. This video also shows you some features from Safe Creeper:
Features
---

- Set if creepers will be powerd when they hit by lightning
External Connections
---
Safe Creeper makes some connections to external servers. One of these connections is to dev.bukkit.org itself. Safe Creeper uses this connection to check whether there are any updates available. Safe Creeper is able to download these updates automatically from the dev.bukkit.org servers. Since Safe Creeper 1.5.2.3, Safe Creeper is also posting anonymous statistics to statistics.timvisee.com. This post request contains little information about the plugin and the server it´s running on. This request contains the version of Craft Bukkit, the version number of Safe Creeper, and the amount of online players, this post request may also contain additional information coming from Safe Creeper itself, like the amount of Creeper´s nerfed by Safe Creeper. A server address is not included because the statistics system is anonymous. The Safe Creeper statistics system will send the server´s address if enabled in the configuration file. This statistics system has been implemented to give people the ability to see how many servers Safe Creeper is running on. And to give an overview of the global usage of certain Safe Creeper features. All these systems could be disabled in the configuration file. Safe Creeper does not connect to any other external server than the two described above.

As you can see the new version has been released of Safe Creeper with a lot of new, cool features. (Link). I took a look at the explosive problem but I can't seem to fix it, I'm sorry. The plugin is bypassing Safe Creeper somehow. I actually suggest you to disable this feature inside the HardMode plugin and enable 'CustomExplosionSize' inside Safe Creeper inside the 'TNTControl', this should cause something similair.
Hope this helps.

Posted Dec 21, 2012Safe Creeper v1.3.4 - Mob Equipment and more...
Safe Creeper 1.3.4 has been released. This update contains some epic new features. The first first feature you would notice is that a feature, called 'CustomEquipment' has been added. This allows you to set the equipment of mobs the advanced way. For example you can give a zombie a sign with knockback 20, and a glass block on his head. Documentation about this feature will be available as soon as possible, which should also contain an example file, and a video tutorial. When the documentation is finished, a message will be posted on the Safe Creeper pages. There are also a few other small features added like 'CanPickupItems' or features to set mobs to spawn as baby!
Important Note: This version requires Bukkit-1.4.5-R1.0 or above for this update. Lower versions won't work and will cause a huge wall of errors in the console!
Download
Because the bukkit administrators need to validate the new plugin files, the download probably isn't available yet on this page. We highly recommend you to download the file from bukkit or my (timvisee's) website:
Bukkit direct link: http:dev.bukkit.org/media/files/658/849/SafeCreeper_1.3.4.zip
My website direct link: http:timvisee.com/download/105
All versions: http:timvisee.com/projects/bukkit/safe-creeper/downloads/
How to update Safe Creeper from 1.3.3 or lower
Important! Different than before: Because of the newly added file updater it's way easier to update Safe Creeper. The only thing you've to do is update the SafeCreeper.jar file. All your config files are automaticly updated as soon as you restart the Safe Creeper plugin with the new .jar file. Also, all the new features are automaticly added to your config files, so there's no need to fully set up all the config files again!
How to install Safe Creeper 1.3.4
If you haven't installed an earlier version of Safe Creeper on your server you've to do the following to install Safe Creeper on your server. The first thing you've to do is download the files of Safe Creeper 1.3.4. Inside this downloaded .zip file is a SafeCreeper.jar file. You need to place this file into your plugins folder of your server. Make sure you've shut down your server first. Then you also need to copy the Safe Creeper (from the downloaded .zip file) into your plugins folder, because this folder contains all the config files. If you are not able to add this folder you don't have to copy them. Safe Creeper will automaticly generate it's config files if they aren't available on start up. Although I highly suggest to copy this folder if you are able to. After this you can make your changes in the config files if you want and you can start up your server again.

Posted Dec 21, 2012Update:
A new version will be released this evening, this contains some bug fixes, but also some new cool features, like 'CanPickupItems' but also the ability to set the equipment of mobs! This equipment feature is very advanced, and you can do anything you want with it, you can give zombies a sword with an enchantment, or a sign with knockback 20 for example. You can even put a dirt block on his head. This is fully customizable with chances. You can create different equipment sets to give zombies different types of equipment. For example a rare set, which only has a chance of 1%, with some rare items in this set, and a regulair set with a chance of 99% with some reguilair items.
If you have any suggestions really quick, please tell us!

Hi, I'm working on documentation for all these new features, for hte Locations feature too. I suggest you to take a look at this video for the reviving stuff:
I might finished some documentation in the evening ;)
About the locations thing, this c ould be used to set (for example) that creepers will explode in factions or in Mob Arena's, and other things like that. This will also be available in the upcomming documentation!
Also, I'm goign to release a new version this evening, witch has support for equipment for monsters!! It's VERY advanced and everything is possible using this feature, for example even the chance they drop their armor, so you can set it to 0 if it's armor players may not get. Also, you can add enchantmetns, for example a sign with knockback 20, everything is possible!
I'll make a video about all this features, and I hope I finished the documentation as soon as possible.
Btw, I forgot to tell you, it is possible to set creepers are able to (only) explode underneath see level, here's an example for this:
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your 'rating'.

Posted Dec 21, 2012Hi, is there any more documentation on the new revive feature? Specifically:
* under Reviving: what does 'Radius' control?
* Is 'chance' the probability of a mob reviving itself once dead, or of another mob successfully reviving it?
* What is "Reviver", and its sub-settings, under the Revival settings for creepers?
It looks like a cool new feature, I just want to make sure I use it to its fullest :)
Also, what is the syntax for "Location: { }" ? I'd like to make creepers and tnt only work below sea level (then use the override permission for tnt exceptions)
If I missed this in the documentation or changelogs, I apologize! Thanks for your help!

Hi,
I'm sorry for the late reply. I think I know what the problem causes. THere's a plugin called 'TVNLib' which could be found on the add-ons page, this plugin is needed to use some features from Safe Creeper (unique features like mob revivers). Because the add-on is not installed this error shows up. This error shouldn't cause any problems thought. You can also install the add-on to fix the problem temporary. I'll release a fix as soon as possible which will probably be around tomorrow :).
Hope this helps,

Posted Dec 11, 2012Safe Creeper v1.3.3 - Flying blocks, Reviving...
Safe Creeper 1.3.3 has been released. This update contains some epic new features. The first feature you might notice is 'Flying Blocks', what this feature does is easy. When it's enabled, exploding TNT will make the blocks witch are broken by the explosion fly around, to make it look more realistic. Also, a reviving feature has been added. This feature gives you the ability to set if mobs can be revived. Also, one of the most epic features in the update is that you can set, that other creatures are able to revive a died creature! (This feature needs the TVNLib add-on to be installed!). A lot of other features and bug fixed happend. Check the change log bellow to see all changes.
Important Note: It is highly recommended to use Bukkit 1.4.5-R0.3 or above for this update. Lower versions shouldn't cause problems, but the Enderman block control system may not work properly.
