launch spoutcraft DON'T login. Press options, select always use latest dev builds. login. It will now update.

the crash when pressing L/opening the store is because your pc is too bad to render the background. to fix this edit the background texture in the textures.yml
Edit: Update your spout, it will fix the crashing bug!

The last stable build they promoted was 1110, but I think any later dev build should work.
