Posted Jul 20, 2012Found quite a few bugs with NPC's
1) You get XP for hitting them
2) You can actually ban them and they leave the game
3) Their heads dont turn toward you when you're near them (are they supposed to?)
4) Some NPC's wont delete. It seems to be random, it just wont let me select them
5) When you ban one, it says "[npc] has left the game"
Are you creating the NPC's as actual player entities?

Posted Jul 20, 2012I am having a issue. In the current version (1.3) ores do not seem to be generating. They are not generating in new chunks nor in a new world. Any ideas?

I think its a spout bug, ask the devs about lag spikes with custom blocks and tell then everthing about you pc.
That arrow thing is also a spout bug, I tried using rightclick buttom but it doesn't work, appearantly it works with left click? With what items does it do that?

@duckdoom5 im running my server on local host (127.0.0.1) are you hosting your server or is it on a real server? i used the default texture pack and processor is still at 33% and ram 32% and i still lose alot of FPS
i really dont think it can be my computer i just built it myself this year and put a good amount of money into it
strange... with the default texture pack and the mrpiggys if i spawn items from RPGE when i left click with it it shoots an arrow and uses the item i had in my hand as the reagent >.> i tested this with quite a few items and same result

Posted Jul 20, 2012The new items like adamantine sword, shovel,.... break blocks/damage targets like hands and does not have durability... How to fix this? And an important thing!!!! Make Factions compatibility some of my users hit themself and doesn't die because they are in the same faction but they gain experience.... Btw this plugin need some fixes but it's a really cool one.

Some of the guis don't work, but that is my own fault, i did't have time to check if everything worked after the split. The rease why some don't work is because they don't have a screen listener or the screen listener still listens to RpgEssentials core instead of listening to itself

I believe duckdoom is aware of this issue, I have spoken with him about RPGlevel errors in console and the GUI's not working correctly.
I think a spout update slightly change the way GUI's are handled, they open the first time but when opening them again they don't work, you have to press the 'esc' key in order for the menus to work again.
The glass issue (and I also think the sound issue) is a issue with textures not downloading correctly. Try adding the textures that fault in the config.yml file under "precache:" (for me it was a problem with the signs.png)
Do you use the standard custom blocks or are you hosting your own? Hosting your own on dropbox is a easy work around. I'm working on step by step tutorials on my wiki http://rpge.wikidot.com/

Posted Jul 19, 2012I'm having a few issues:
Occasionally, the leveling system will just completely stop working. L doesnt open up the GUI, I dont get xp from mobs, the whole system just shuts down pretty much.
Also, when I place custom blocks, they show up as glass blocks to other users. And, things like the register dont activate the shop.
Lastly, the region music only plays for me and one other person, but not for the rest of my players. Any idea why?
The block and level bugs only happen occasionally. It's interesting. I can give you a pastebin of all the errors if you want, unless you already know what the issue is.

I've added the option to make it opaque and will now check if this fixed the problem.
What you can try for now, is editing ""Custom Blocks." + name + ".brightness" this will edit the brightness of the texture, this is NOT the same as lightlevel

Posted Jul 19, 2012I have had problems with this plugin.This is an awesome plugin but don't get me wrong,But the problem is i lag with rpg essentials installed.On normal spoutcraft i get 90-110 FPS when i install rpg essentials i get 8-12 anyone else with this problem and has anyone found a fix for it,pls help
