MAJOR NEWS

I have decided that we are going to be merging all of the RPG style plugins into a single plugin, Servers that want to only use a few features from them will still be able to do so through our config files. The RpgAPI page we have will be the one the plugin gets released on. It is taking a bit longer than expected to get them all updated but we are trying to make them as configurable as possible so every server can use them exactly how they want to.

Rpg Friends

Rpg Friends gives your players the ability to control their friends and ignore lists, while allowing server admins to give players access to 3 special command they can use from within their friends list!

Commands
/friend add {playername} - add a new player to your friends list if they accept your request
/friend remove {playername - remove a player from your friends list
/friend accept - accept a friend request
/friend deny - deny a pending friend request
/friend list - bring up a gui to display all your friends online and off (with player head display and 3 configurable commands for left click right click and shift click!)
/friend ignore {playername} - add a player to your ignore messages (you will not see chat from this player) *
/friend unignore {playername} - remove a player from your ignore list

- players cannot ignore ops.

Config

#ammount of time a player has to accept a friend invite
Timer: 60
#commands to be exectued in friends list @p = player clicking @t = head clicked on
Commands:
  Left Click: 
    Command: friend remove @t
    Description: remove this player from your friends list.
  Right Click: 
    Command: party invite @t
    Description: Invite this player to a party
  Shift Click: 
    Command: tell @t @p says hello! 
    Description: Say hello!

This plugin currently has no permission nodes.

I'm not really taking on extra projects at the moment cause i have a lot of work on plugins to make for my own server, though i will keep posting "most" of the plugins that i make up on bukkit dev for you guys, so hopefully more of them can be useful for you :)

Dude hi I own a walking Dead Server And i love ur plugins i whould like to hire u for my server and have u as my plugin make because ur awesome but To help u say yes i whould like to pay u For the plugin u make for my server i was thinking about 5-10$ on how complex the plugin is thank u

ok v1.02 is uploaded with the new config section
Chat: true
set it to Chat: false
to turn off ignore features for herochat compatability. If you don't have Chat: true or Chat: false in your config it will error out with this version so make sure to add it, or delete your old config so it auto generates!

ok i'll implement the quick fix later tonight, and work on the rpg chat system later on then,

my server is mc.vartala.com though it's still a huge work in progress, we're making it a full on mmo rpg :)

I would say for now do whatever would be the fastest to do because A LOT of servers use herochat. After you implement the quicker fix, DO THE CHAT PLUGIN BECAUSE IT SOUNDS FUCKING AWESOME.

What server do you own?

Ok looking into the way hero chat works it won't work with the way i do this plugin, cause of the ignore feature. I can either just add a config option to disable the ignore feature, or i can make a completely customizable RPG chat system that includes the rpg friends feature in it including a gui to use to easily and quickly adjust which chat channels your're listeneing to, and which you're focused in?

v1.01 is uploaded with the error messages being fixed for not enough commands. It will be available for download as soon as bukkit approves it.

i'll have to look into herochat to see what they're doing and how, but mine just uses the display names that other plugins use so i don't know why it would be overwritting anything, unless he has his priority set to highest with ignored cancel true, if that's the case he would have to change his plugin to work with this one, there's nothing i could do the other way around.

You get an error when you just do /friend add and also when you install this plugin it screws up chat (gets rid of prefixes, suffixes, and puts brackets around your name) I'm using the latest versions of Pex and Herochat

I'm currently a stay at home dad with a lot of time on my hands, so i taught myself java a few weeks ago to start programming for my server and decided to share my plugins since they're all pretty neat. It'd be nice if it was more than just a hobby (and my wife would complain about it less) but yeah i do kinda enjoy it so it is a good hobby :)

diannafire I am a fan of your RPG plugins, but really you do this for a hobby? I would make my own plugins but I don't have the patience to learn java.
