Posted Jul 14, 2012Hi again. I have another issue. My help.txt (custom) and rules.txt are not showing up. It says "No Such File!" Every time that I try to load it with /help and /rules. The rules.txt isn't an issue, because I have another plugin that governs rules, but I really would like to use my own help.txt, like you recommended, but this impedes me. :( I'm really hoping to get this fixed soon. Can you tell me of the general reasons why this would come up in the first place, and why it would not be showing up when there clearly is a help.txt file?

Thanks for the quick update, but it doesn't appear to work for me. I'm using PermissionsEX with the latest build of rcmds.
Here's the log: http://paste.royaldev.org/view/121

Another feature that could be added: permission based home limits (rcmds.home.multi.5 or rcmds.home.multi.vip). I would like to give different home limits to donors. The more they donate, the more homes they can set.
Cool to see the PVP feature being implemented too!

Posted Jul 12, 2012Okay, further inspection into the whitelist issue, and just deleting the old whitelist.yml that you had fixed the errors, but I tried using your whitelist, and the problems just make no sense. I have my name on the list but it says I am not whitelisted. I even put it in through the console, and it allowed me in, but when i edited it manually later, it just told me the same, that I was not whitelisted on the server. Kinda strange and confusing. :/
I've already compiled a list of who i need to whitelist, so it would be easier for me to just copy and paste, but that's apparently what's wrong. It'll be really tedious to have to type around 40 commands to whitelist everyone. It would be a lot easier to use the native whitelist. If there's a work-around, please tell me. Thanks so far for all the info and troubleshooting help.

The strange thing about that is that I'm not using your whitelist service, but am using bukkit's. When I tried using yours, it wouldn't work for some reason. I'll mess with the whitelist stuff nonetheless. Thanks.

I don't know if it's actually necessary for this plugin, but it was just kind of handy with Essentials. I found a plugin called "Anti-Relog" that does a good job blocking this type of behavior.

Posted Jul 12, 2012Also, in case I missed this configuration in config.yml, is there a way to limit what commands can be seen by what permission nodes that group has? It'll be annoying if all my members have to wade through 20 pages of commands, and only have access to make 2 pages worth.
Another random issue. Getting an error trying to run a reload (aka: /rcmds, /royalcommands, etc.)
Here's the error 2012-07-12 10:06:31 [INFO] [PLAYER_COMMAND] bLackmaiLd: /rcmds 2012-07-12 10:06:31 [SEVERE] null org.bukkit.command.CommandException: Unhandled exception executing command 'rcmds' in plugin RoyalCommands v0.2.3 at org.bukkit.command.PluginCommand.execute(PluginCommand.java:42) at org.bukkit.command.SimpleCommandMap.dispatch(SimpleCommandMap.java:166) at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.CraftServer.dispatchCommand(CraftServer.java:479) at net.minecraft.server.NetServerHandler.handleCommand(NetServerHandler.java:821) at net.minecraft.server.NetServerHandler.chat(NetServerHandler.java:781) at net.minecraft.server.NetServerHandler.a(NetServerHandler.java:764) at org.getspout.spout.SpoutNetServerHandler.a(SpoutNetServerHandler.java:106) at net.minecraft.server.Packet3Chat.handle(Packet3Chat.java:34) at net.minecraft.server.NetworkManager.b(NetworkManager.java:229) at net.minecraft.server.NetServerHandler.a(NetServerHandler.java:113) at org.getspout.spout.SpoutNetServerHandler.a(SpoutNetServerHandler.java:172) at net.minecraft.server.NetworkListenThread.a(NetworkListenThread.java:78) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.w(MinecraftServer.java:567) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:459) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:492) Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException at org.royaldev.royalcommands.ConfigManager.getStringList(ConfigManager.java:82) at org.royaldev.royalcommands.RoyalCommands.reloadConfigVals(RoyalCommands.java:209) at org.royaldev.royalcommands.rcommands.CmdRcmds.onCommand(CmdRcmds.java:28) at org.bukkit.command.PluginCommand.execute(PluginCommand.java:40) ... 14 more

Posted Jul 12, 2012@jkcclemens: It still doesn't work for me for some reason, but what you've given me is fine, also, I second @funkystudios request. I run a PVP server, and I need to make sure that people don't teleport away before combat occurs, so this would be a very useful to be utilized in-game. If not, I might have to revert back to Essentials (bleh, lol).

Posted Jul 11, 2012Does this plugin have a teleport warm-up feature?
Say someone types /home or /spawn while they are in a battle and then they are hit. Would the teleportation cancel if they are hit within 3 seconds of typing the teleportation command?

Posted Jul 11, 2012Hi, I have somewhat of an issue, but not with the plugin. Is your website down? I would like to see the permission node list, but I cannot connect to your website. Is there another source that I can go to that will allow me to? I just recently installed your plugin, and don't know any of the nodes, and my server community is waiting for me to allow them into the new server, so if you have another method, or if you could send me a text file with them (possibly), that would be awesome. Thanks.

Well try it ;) Unlimited loop, the sun wents around very fast until the server is not responding and the players get a read time out. You could try modulo 20000 to avoid ticks that are over one day.
It's not shown in the console, except for "Maddis: /time 30000"

I just want it so if the player didn't create the warp, he can't overwrite it or delete it. Also, can you make what command the final warn executes? I would like to make it temp-ban because a full on ban isn't always necessary.
I'll donate you after this next months payment :)

Posted Jun 29, 2012I'm not sure how hard it would be but I would love to see a command to show the server join date/time of a player, and/or total time logged in. On our server we don't promote people unless they have played for 48hours.

I'm not looking for homes? I don't want other people deleting/overwriting current warps unless the warp is theirs or they have the correct permission to delete them.

Posted Jun 27, 2012Uhm, warps seriously aren't per player? I don't other people just setting a warp named the same thing and it overwriting.. Can you please make it so that if you own the warp you can overwrite/delete, but if you don't (have the write permission) you can't?
