Compatibility:
The plugin should be compatible with server version 1.13(.1).
Except for Curses it is compatible with version 1.12 and 1.11.
Any other version may or may not work.

Update Checker
This plugin is using an update checker. It will not download or install any files.
If you like to disable this function, go into the config.yml and set 'enable-update-check' to false.

Posted Mar 30, 2014i can't seem to find a list of the skill list of a race i can set anywhere i tried using a command to find it but it didn't give me any list is there away to find said list to set for each race to have a set skill only that race can learn?

Yes you can type e.g. : '&1[&9{RACE} &c{LEVEL}&1]&0&5{PLAYER}&0:
Would look like that in the chat:

You can use all color codes. There is a list in the messages.yml!

Posted Mar 29, 2014I use another plugin to edit and customize the chat. With myRPG, the other plugin is totally disabled.
My question is... Is there a way to customize the color of user names, but still viewing the level and race ? With the chat text all the same.

I was just wondering if there was support for specific leveling for custom items and block ID's. For Example: "You need to be Level 8 to use a Stone_Axe", but at the same time: "You need to be Level 10 to use a Stone_Sword". A little while back you said you would look into it, and I am just wondering if it was implemented, and I am just formatting it wrong in the config, if not, thats fine, of course! I just wanted to check up on how that was going!

You can prevent no building in a world with group manager, pex, and even world guard.
Easiest way
World guard, head to that world
/rg f __global__ build deny
You can also
/gamerule keepInventory true
For each world, so players keep their inventory when they die (in case myrpg is unusable)

Posted Mar 28, 2014Maybe to plug completely under MMORPG genre, ie prohibit players breaking worldwide, to add new plugin predmety. I loved the plug on the server WynnCraft. Can in principle remove modifyworld *, but then you will need to sacrifice something else.

Posted Mar 27, 2014I tend to agree with Mre30. The way this plugin is going, it may become unmanageable eventually (or already is) due to the vast array of tangents it goes into. When this happens in a project, the tendency to dabble in a lot of directions but not perfecting any one direction happens. This is where individual plugins tend to be better because the author can focus on one type of thing and perfect it.
Although it would be great to have a plugin that encompasses almost everything you desire to use on a RPG server, I fear some people will ultimately prefer more detailed plugins for some of the tangents this plugin dabbles in. (npcs, quests, traders, skills to name a few)

There are plenty of plugins out there that can do some of the things you have here.
Traders.
I suggest just telling people to use dtlTraders. I have been using it for almost 2 years now. It's the best admin type trader plugin out there. Hands down. Nice you added the /mnpc alias, players can still use citizens and use dtltraders with /trait trader.
Everything else is perfect the way it is. Honestly.
As for skills, just tell them to use magicspells plugin and give out spells by perm on levels. Magicspells plugin has a ass ton of spells lol. And you can make your own.
If these guys are creative enough, then can add weapon uses as skills too.
Example:
Crackshot guns plugin. Use it as a gunslinger class where only that class can use guns.
Or
You make ANYTHING you want in crackshot. You can even make a Hoe, spawn mobs, for a necromancer class.
This is the best way to do things I think. It takes a lot of the load off of you... if these guys would just think outside the box.
There is the new SkillAPI plugin... but man... who the hell wants to sit there and manually do alllllllll of that lmao!

If you want, you can take my idea.
Use MagicSpells plugin. In config, set Use default perms false: true.
Then Make your class give out the spell perms on levels.
