Ride-It, The Plugin for riding on mobs and Players.

sorry for not updating this. I am going to rewrite this plugin. and make it a lot better! - permission support - better sitting on mobs, players - controlling mob the new update is not out now, so please wait for it.

Use java 7!

Description

With this Plugin the player can sit on all Players and mobs.
If gave permission admins can force Players and mobs to sit on him.

Usage

Right click with saddle on a mob/Player to ride it.
To un-ride it just Right click again (no saddle needed).
Right click with the blaze rod on a mob/Player to select it, then click on an other mob/Player to stack them.

Commands

/eject - Sets yourself free from riders. (right-click)

Permissions

RideIt.* - All Ride-It commands
RideIt.eject - Allows you to use the /eject command. (default)
RideIt.ride - Allows you to ride. (default)
RideIt.rideme - Allows you to force something to ride you. (op)
RideIt.wand - Allows you to stack mobs and players. (op)

To-Do

A way for controlling the mob.
add RideIt.ridemob (op)
add RideIt.rideplayer (op)
remove rideit.ride

so... how's this different from mobrider? it's the same, but less developed...

however, it has the potential to be better.

as far as a control system:

you should make it so that when you sneak while riding, the mob goes in the direction you're facing. the "whip" from mobrider is inelegant and hard to use, and prevents you from wielding your sword while riding your mighty steed...

Just wondering, for example if you ride a wolf, is your movement speed higher than normal walking? Because I would like to set permissions to donators and have them ride mobs as a perk. So riding mobs would increase exploration and what not. Also can you add a configuration to set which animals are able to be ridden and which item has to be used to ride animals (or a specific animal). Like iron ingot for wolves, gold for cows, iron ingot for chicken, etc. Otherwise this plugin is great :)

My players love this! Apparently though if you try to ride a pig it puts the saddle on it instead.

Hey !

Is there a way to restrict teleporting ? eg disable people teleporting other people using the saddle. For example, a VIP user that has /tp could have someone on his back and teleport him with him, but only if he has the permission to do so, if not dismount and teleport him.

Do you meen a permission node to ride players? because you should make the ability to ride mobs seperate from players. Have a permission node to ride mobs and then another permission node to ride players :)
