Residence Town Protection
ResTown
Residence Town Protection (ResTown) is a mod that allows whitelisting users that can build outside of Residence areas.
On my server I have a flatland world called town. In town I want my users to be able to build in their specified residences but not on the paths and spawn areas around their residences. ResTown stops this and only allows users to build in any residence they have access to.
Configuration
How to configure ResTown:
ResTown requires the Residence plugin and Permissions Bukkit to function.
1. Drop restown.jar into plugins directory
2. Open up Permissions Bukkit config file
3. To specify which worlds and which users ResTown should affect write the following:
groups:
default:
permissions:
permissions.build: true
worlds:
world:
restown.build: true
world_town:
restown.build: false
The code above allows minecrafters in the world 'world' to build anywhere but users in the world 'world_town' have to build in Residence plots. It may be usefull to give all admins restown.build: true so that they can build anywhere.

Posted Apr 6, 2013Hi people, I haven't worked on this in a loooong time. I'm extremely surprised that this mod still works on the latest versions of Bukkit - A testimony to Bukkit's work as that last update was 1.2.5.
I have begun looking at a way to use Residence to automatically generate 'plots' in a flatworld. It would be a custom build of the residence plugin and is in the planning stages.
Once again i'm sorry but this won't be updated!

I think that it does only depends on Residence version, not CB version, but i might be wrong :)

restown.build
On your residence enabled world and all will be good

Posted Jun 9, 2012If you want to set another flag, I would suggest putting the area you want in a residence and setting the flags for that residence. Currently restown cancels all left and right click events outside of a residence
