Description
Restart Evolution is a plugin that allows admins to restart and stop their servers.
The server script automatically detects by typing in a command whether it should stop or restart.
If you cant edit the start script, the server will do an restart or stop (defined by your hoster) when you type in /re stop AND /re restart.
This Plugin works only perfectly if you can edit the start script.
But you can also use it without the Script!
- Restart/Stop the server with a specified message
- Set the warningtimes in the config
- Modify every warning at RestartEvolution
- Restart/Stop the server immediately
- Restart/Stop the server after the given time
- show not decimal time without a comma
- working also with linux / mac
- status on join
- Sound when warning Sound-List
Setting up
You just have to put the RestartEvolution.jar file in your plugins folder and replace your start script with the one at the Scripts page.

What do you mean with a reload? Do you want a /reload countdown? Or simply reload the Plugin?

I'm hosting a Feed the beast server, and i really need the reload script for my BlockProtection plugin and such..
Is this something you will have to fix in your plugin, or is it just a script in the batch file? If that's it, can you please send me the code? ;)

But you can use the standard script from bukkit.org (http://wiki.bukkit.org/Setting_up_a_server#Mac_OS_X)

Yes, it is possible, ill add an reload at the next file. I couldn't say, if i manage that, you can set own amount of times, but im looking forward to that... Why dont you change the name by yourselves? :)

Posted Jun 17, 2013The only issue is plugins are disabled and never enabled again:( I cant sit at the server constantly and unless there is a core mod that will do a command on startup i cant reload the plugins

Posted Jun 17, 2013Is their a way to cancel a restart/stop once already started? Also if there could be a way to add more warnings (any amount you want) in the config file that would be cool and another question can u change the name of the batch file from Start_RestartEvolution_Windows to anything we want like launch or run or start? Thank You again for making this plugin it is very useful and helps alot thank you

You mustn't use this plugin. But if you want to restart AND stop the server, you need the batch.

The batch file is needed, it checks if the server should restart or stop. Its not a fail because you can't use the plugin right. The plugin stops the servernd if you dont use the batch file, the server wouldnt restart! So if you cant change the start script, its your problem and not mine.

Posted Mar 28, 2013Wow this plugin is the most fail iv ever seen.
1. your start.bat file IS NOT needed and you will find not many will use the plugin because they do not have the ability to change theirs.
2. It does not work all your plugin has to do is type STOP in console and any decent server host's CP will take care of turning it back on. Your plugin seems to some how confuse the crap out of my Hosts CP and make my server stay offline.
