About

Residence is different from most protection plugins in that it aims for the users to be able to protect their own homes without having to bother the admin to do it. Residence has support for a variety of different protection types including preventing movement through areas, all of which can be configured by the land owner, and limited by the admin.

Addons

Dynmap Residence - Dynmap plugin that shows residences on the webmap.
ResExtras - Control snow, ice, animals, mobs, and more within a residence.
Residence Fly - Controls flying within a residence. Leaving will cause a player to fall.
Residence Signs - Easy buying/selling/renting with signs.
ResTown - Controls which users can build outside of a residence.
ResProtect - Protects animals via flags
ResCreative - Grants creative on entering a residence.
ResPerm - Adds additional permissions to a player on residence change.
SimpleClansResidence - Integrates Residence and SimpleClans
Flags - Apparently adds flags or something

the updated residence signs doesn't work on my server...

@bekvon, just wanted to know if this was intended or not...

/res list

Does not show subzones the user has bought...is there a way to show subzones they own?

Some people are destroying the blocks, if they are in residence, it may really be caused by lag

OMG nooooo. We have too many res setup. I can't aford to delete the res files. Let me run some test with new res config, and see if there is any difference in the users res files. May I can rebuild it.

Is it with in the realm of possibility to add sign support for renting and selling of residence?? this way other users just have to punch a sign to rent a residency. I am wanna make a Inn where the rooms can be rented by n00bs so they can get started on a the map and have a temp place to be safe in. Also is it possible to force despawn mobs types (hostel, neutral, friendly) with a flag?

I take soo muc .ms time.. no other plugin does it.

I love this plugin, And there is no replacement.. Does anyone know of any other plugin that will convert our worlds res?

Even with the new update, Residence is lagging my server badly :)

hmm maybe I downloaded the wrong version xD what a shame.. anyway its working now and the lags are .. impressive my server is changing from 60 tps to 0,6 tps in 5 seconds..

Residence is the best area protection setup for admins and mods that don't want to be constantly bothered by "can u protect this" requests all the time. Someone with good Java experience ought to jump on and continue development
