About

Residence is different from most protection plugins in that it aims for the users to be able to protect their own homes without having to bother the admin to do it. Residence has support for a variety of different protection types including preventing movement through areas, all of which can be configured by the land owner, and limited by the admin.

Addons

Dynmap Residence - Dynmap plugin that shows residences on the webmap.
ResExtras - Control snow, ice, animals, mobs, and more within a residence.
Residence Fly - Controls flying within a residence. Leaving will cause a player to fall.
Residence Signs - Easy buying/selling/renting with signs.
ResTown - Controls which users can build outside of a residence.
ResProtect - Protects animals via flags
ResCreative - Grants creative on entering a residence.
ResPerm - Adds additional permissions to a player on residence change.
SimpleClansResidence - Integrates Residence and SimpleClans
Flags - Apparently adds flags or something

The next dev build of Residence will feature a more stable save style, and it will begin to backup save files in case of emergencies, this should solve alot of yall's problem with crashes wiping your saves and all that jazz.

As I said, you don't seem to have the required brain specs to run Residence, I would advise you to find a new plugin.

ok so it doesnt seem to be caused by a bad save its just on load sometimes it fails to load res_world.yml http://pastebin.com/dQug6C7Q

anyone else have this problem?

Oh gee, I guess you are right, you might as well find a new plugin to use, as it seems Residence doesn't really fit your needs anymore. Obviously if you cannot figure out how to read the 30 posts describing how the latest dev build works on 1.4.6 you just don't have the brain specs required to run Residence. Just because I don't create a download link in bright red letters and have it flash and yell at your face doesn't mean it is not there.

In game then I use /resadmin remove {other people created zone name} it says that I don't have premissions, I'm op and In permissionsEX have '*'

I can only remove zones from the console.

If you create a residence and these flags: -animals, +monsters, +bucket are in your config, you only have this things on YOUR OWN residences and NOT at residences from OTHER players.

Hello !

I have always the same problem whit residence.

I want that if you are the owner you can do everything and if you was not the owner you can do nothing (by default).

That is possible whit residence ? because "residencedefault" overwrite "creatordefault" and all owner of any house have same flag, that possible owner can do evertyhing ONLY in YOUR owned area and not ALL owned area ?

someone ingame without residence admin permissions managed somehow to make a bad residence name or corrupt the save somehow and it deleted the res_world.yml file

in the past if some sort of error like this happened it renamed the old one res_world_error.yml however last night it just deleted it and stopped the server.

Hi, I have Residence for 1.4.6 and when I try to /res message enter <Message> it sais Invalid Characters Detected, and I don't use strange characters for example: "/res message enter Hello buddy" help!
