Residence


About
Residence is different from most protection plugins in that it aims for the users to be able to protect their own homes without having to bother the admin to do it. Residence has support for a variety of different protection types including preventing movement through areas, all of which can be configured by the land owner, and limited by the admin.

I'm sorry but I believe you cant do that. The easiest thing would be, set all flags to false and use another plugin to protect the world. Maybe you have to set some of the residence flags to true.

Posted Nov 3, 2012on testing with the mediafire build below ive found that heads are still unprotected inside residences. Just thought id let you know.

Hey let me explain, I have a server with 2 world residence and factions but on factions world i want to disable residence how i do it?
I already try with the negative permission and it doesnt work i use group manager if you need here is my residence config:

emiliotron - be more specific. what you want to disable on residence? If you dont want it on 1 world, just dont use it there.. Made permission file for that world and use negative permission node residence.create That will be easiest.

Posted Nov 2, 2012I fixed it by rewriting whole config from start :-D but now, no one from admins even OPs can build on players residences.. :-DD how to do it?
I set Enablepermissions to true, LegacyPerm to True (using essetials + gm) AdminOPs: true
+ i made special group for admins/techs/Gms.. with rights to do everything OUTSIDE residences.. but how to do it insides? :-D

No you can select the area of a already made res and resize the area.

Seems your save file is blank.... Restore it from a backup. (This would be the result of an improper shutdown of your server messing up the save file i.e. a crash or cutting the power)[EDIT] Actually its your config thats blank.... weird
[EDIT 2] In fact it might not be your whole config, but its definitely missing the "defaultgroup" configuration section under your groups area

I think he/she means expand a residence that is already created. As far as I know you have to remove to resize your residence which is kind of a hassle. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Experimental build for 1.4.2 Try it if you want, should protect new features as follows:
Wither eating blocks and block explosions: flag "wither"
Wither damaging players via exploding head throwing: flag "witherdamage" or "damage"
ItemFrames putting item inside: flag "container"
beacons, anvils, flowerpots, commandblock: flag "use" and flags "beacon" "anvil" "flowerpot" "commandblock" respectfully
ItemFrames breaking and placing: flag "build" or "destroy" and "place"
Painting protection was also changed to reflect changes in bukkit so testing that would be nice to
Bats spawing: flag "animals"
Witch spawning: flag "monsters"
Wood button pressing: flag "button" or "use"
Trample flag finally actually works correctly
Explosions in proximity to a res no longer destroy blocks inside that res(was added before but only just fixed)
Ummm I think thats everything. ETA on SQL is undetermined I lost a large portion of my work due to problems, but I should be getting a beta out in the next month or two.

Set world flags to false for everything will only allow them to build in res's with flags set to true

If you have issues with Residence when using a 1.4.x build, please wait for the 1.4.2 RB 1.x for CraftBukkit, I believe that the Residence team is working hard on the release for the 1.4.2 version of Residence.
