Residence
About
Residence is different from most protection plugins in that it aims for the users to be able to protect their own homes without having to bother the admin to do it. Residence has support for a variety of different protection types including preventing movement through areas, all of which can be configured by the land owner, and limited by the admin.

- Dynmap Residence - Dynmap plugin that shows residences on the webmap.
- ResExtras - Control snow, ice, animals, mobs, and more within a residence.
- Residence Fly - Controls flying within a residence. Leaving will cause a player to fall.
- Residence Signs - Easy buying/selling/renting with signs.
- ResTown - Controls which users can build outside of a residence.

- ResCreative - Grants creative on entering a residence.

what i did is i change this setting in the config to true.
(UseLeaseSystem: true)
and after i select a area, i type in /res create test2.
but my money in my account didn't decrease ,which is already weird.
then i tpye in /res lease cost test2.
and it shows i need 3 doller to renew this area.
and i type in /res lease renew test2, weird thing happened.
3 doller did decrease from my account, and an error log appear

and after i search in the ticket page, i found a people with almost same problem with me
just slightly different in the error log.

Actually, I have a new problem. I want my players to be able to teleport to their own residences, but not to others. Currently anyone can teleport to any residence. I can't seem to find a permission specifically for this - is there a way to allow players to teleport ONLY to the residences they own?

So i did ;-) just reported, because changelog 2.6.5 says fixed.
For me more important is the option of different prices in different worlds.

that problem is reported multiple times, just use another tool than worldedit as a selection tool, until they fixed it ;)

I've had that error in the past, delete your config, and let it regenerate it. Backup the old config if you have to in order to re-add all the settings. I think you may have put the incorrect setting for the 'LegacyPermissions' option.

Posted Aug 9, 2012I am using 2.6.5, wand is not working for me (Yes i set permissions ;-) ) Coords seem not to be passed through to Residence. But no problem, i use feather as selection tool.
As i am using multiverse, i would like to set different prices for land in different worlds but cannot figure out how to do this. Any help appreciated.

Posted Aug 8, 2012Hey, I'm having a rental problem.
I have my rent permissions set to work, but whenever I try to put a residence up for rent (either typing it out manually or using a sign with ResidenceSigns) I get an error saying rent is disabled. Help?

Edit:: It appears also that when my players try to purchase a plot that I have put up for sale they get the "economy disabled" message. I have no idea why.
