This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.
Well, it means that "the region is removed" but the changes are not saved to the files.
I'm not sure if my plugin show's WorldGuard's save-errors.
If it doesn't, I will change that... so you get WorldGuard's messages.. when somethings wrong.
One question... does it work well when you do WorldGuard's /region remove ?
Automatically make claimable plots. Sounds good.
I'm afraid it will be a complicated command. There will be alot of arguments... like
/selfservice generate <name-prefix> <width> <length> <height> <border-block> <spacing> ...
Maybe I should make it like a Wizard.... like:
/selfservice generate <name-prefix>
"Define the size of the sub-regions with blablabla"
selfservice <width> <length> <height>
"Define the space between sub-regions with blalbalbla"
About your PS. WorldGuard provides "an imaginary region" called GLOBAL. It corresponds to the whole world.
So you could do /region flag GLOBAL build deny
This way, a player can't build anywhere.
If a player claims a region, he will be able to build in that region (assuming that the claimed region is not a child-region of GLOBAL. If it was, it would inherit "build deny" which is not good)
I notice when I do /regionss delete <name> it deletes it, and I verify it's going using worldguard. However when I restart the server, the regions I removed via /regionss come back. Not sure why???
Is there a way to add an alias for the commands? /selfservice is so long. I opened up the plugin.yml in the jar and tried adding an alias to the alias entry but it wouldn't work. I edited my alias entry to be "aliases: [regionss, zone]", so that /zone could be the command. No dice :<
there should be way that it automatically makes a region for sale, that way big server can have a plot world with just tons of plots, i know that would be very helpful to me :P Its great so far though! Keep it up
At the moment there is no per-world configuration.
But this plugin can limit the sizes op regions. Like you want.
I don't understand what you mean by this:
"something more simple like a wand idea where a player could say claim a lot but only max of 25x25"
Sounds like exactly what this plugin does. You should read the feature list 8-)
I never used a regions type plugin besides basic WG use. I really like the sounds of these region selling plugins. I was hoping to do the following and please let me know if its possible and or worth doing.
PVE World, Mining and no claiming under say level 25 depth. FFA pretty much from 25 and under depth. Auto sub divided land with auto pricing and limited plots say 1 per person...
Also was thinking maybe just something more simple like a wand idea where a player could say claim a lot but only max of 25x25 lets say and only claim one so if they do 10x10 they are stuck with 10x10 unless they disband it.
The second one might be nicer not having it such a ugly world. Not sure if you can offer any ideas or advice and give me a better idea what would suit my worlds needs.
This for a new special world I'm creating for the public (non whitelist) and the point of this plugin is to protect the players and their land. And also to prevent above world griefing I'm hoping by making them only be able to dig say underground...

Posted Feb 13, 2012Yeah, defining a huge area and having it automatically generating plot cubes with specified worldguard flags would be amazing.
