RedStone Protect
RedStone Protect
Description
Let your users protect their land, on their terms. With one place of a block they can select any size region that (soon to be you) configure! Currently it only supports 10x10, 20x20, and 40x40 regions but more will be added later on. (TODO: Add more information)
Usage
Place one piece of Redstone Ore to start the builder. Once the builder is up just chat the number you want to create a region for (10 for 10x10, 20 for 20x20, and 40 for 40x40). Then just type the name of the player you want the region to be set up around (and be the owner of the region). The region will be auto-created and a fence will spawn around the border.

Posted Feb 14, 2013This seems good and all but can you set it so that a drawing a line of red stone around something with no other connections or repeaters then typing /redstone protect. Then it turns every block within those barriers have a strength like bedrock. And typing /redstone protect all will protect the entire area in the redstone from top to bottom. I like you idea but people probably wont want to count the entire perimeter of the land. Maybe placing a line of redstone and connecting it to a power source would create a magical fence barrier after typing /redstone block all. Just some suggestions.

Posted Jun 20, 2012== instead of putting redstone why not do with a simple command? I think it would be better, because where players will find redstone ore? ==

I just noticed. You said redstone dust. It is not redstone dust you place :D Its redstone ore. I made it like that so that you can't naturaly get it....without a huge enchanted pickaxe that is. Try Redstone ore then report back if it works or not.

Im adding functionality to select how big you want it. A chunk is very possible to be included in the 2.0 release!

Posted Apr 22, 2012Could you make it so that it selects the nearest chunk?
example:
16x16, 32x32, 64x64 so on...
when u place the block down it moves it to the nearest chunk which the block is placed on.
