Description:
Players can be cops and arrest players. The cops must be in uniform and have their things to arrest people. Players who are arrested will be sent to jail (or where ever you set the coordinates to). I will add Goldecon to this plugin so cops will be paid for doing a good job. At the moment there is no payment system incorporated with this plugin. I do not like command based money so I will not add Iconomy or anything like that to this. I like physical money (like Gold Nuggets) which is why it will work with Goldecon (A plugin I am working on that uses Gold Nuggets as money). If you have any suggestions for this plugin please let me know in the comments.
How to be a cop:
- To be a cop you need to have the permission 'realcops.cop'
- The cop has to be wearing all iron armor
- The cop needs to have a bow and a blaze rod with them (gun and baton)
How to arrest people:
- Right click a player with all the needed things of being a cop
- The player will be sent to jail (or where ever you set the location to)
Default Config:
The config uses integers so for the coordinates, don't use decimals.
# Uniform is Iron as default but you can make it chainmail. Uniform: Iron Jail: Z: 0 Y: 0 X: 0
Commands:
/rc <cops | criminals> - list the cops or criminals that are online.
Permissions:
'realcops.cop' - Lets the player be a cop
'realcops.criminal' - Turns a player into a criminal

if its any conselation, about 6 months ago there was a plugin called careers by swearword
he had cops/officers also but failed to finish the plugin and remained buggy.
It had simple iconomy suppoert for each arrest tha was made and also.
had some small commands such as /officer set jail.
It lacked the arrest feature which is what im most interested in. We were hoping for something similar to mob rider (you can right click the player and force them to ride you as a mob, thus working well for catching people and walking them to jail!
if your plugin can provide iconomy or eco and has the features to arrest. I really hope we get enough server admins together to try and persuade you! :)

I may add Iconomy if enough people ask for it.
I have a test server for this and the plugin is also on V1.0 BUT for some reason wont say the file is there. I have no idea why but I am trying to figure it out.
Before I can add Iconomy or any econ to this I need a way to make it so they get paid for doing good with out them just getting paid for arresting people because then they will just arrest anyone to get money. If you have any ideas on how that can be done please let me know because I have no idea.

Posted Dec 17, 2011to express more interest here and i speak for others. please make sure this will eventually have iconomy or essentials eco support even though you have stated you wont add it. iconomy support will be essential to make this plugin popular.
id rather pay my officers a salary into their bank account than have them paid in gold nuggets :p
