I have recently started making plugins, this is my first one.
The reason for this plugin was to help servers that needed players to view the ranks of that server, for example, there is a prison server, that has tons of ranks but no one knows about them, they then add a plugin that show ranks using /ranks, then everyone can be happy to see the ranks.
This plugin is mostly intended for prison server, but can be used on many other types of servers, it is a simple plugin, all you have to do is drag the rankviewer.jar into your plugins folder, run or reload the server then you are done, to edit the /ranks go into the plugins folder, then the rankviewer folder. To view the ranks, just use /ranks, there is no permission for it so anyone can use it.
Example of /ranks working with color codes
default config:
Ranks: - '&1Ranks of the server:' - '&2Rank1' - '&3Etc...'
to view the ranks use /ranks

Posted Oct 20, 2014there was a recent bug where people would get timed out, it was fixed though, please download latest version to fix this bug.
