Prefixes will be done via another plugin, i do not plan this feature for RUOK just yet.

And check the Commands & Permissions page for a list of permissions.

For some reason, only people with '*' permission node can use rankuponkills please create a node that will allow regular players to use the plugin

THIS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED! i tried this while in op and it worked, but when i deoped myself and reset all kill stats, it didnt rank up

I need help, for some reason, i havent killed anything but it says "you are already at the highest level" or something.

heres the code. can someone fix it? (preferably trudan :P thanks so much if you do help)

PS nvm i fixed it, but i have a new problem. it doesnt seem to be ranking up on PEX

PS NVM AGAIN! fixed that one too!.

NEW PROBLEM!. how do i make it so that it shows 2 prefixes at 1 time like [mod][survivor]<playername> and when the level up it would go to [mod][zombiekiller]<playername> and when someone promoted, [admin][zombiekiller]<playername>

Suggestion: can you please add prefixes? (separate prefixes that dont interfere with PEX prefixes?) it would solve the problem i listed above

Either:

1) Download the latest version (Try the Dev one if that fails)

2) Open the RankupOnKills.jar in an archiver (WinRaR or 7Zip) and edit config.yml inside that, then remove the ranks that are being generated.

Thanks for the help. It seems to be working. But I've got another problem. This is probably just because I've done something wrong... But basically in the config of this plugin it keeps generating two new ranks. Peasant and Trainee. This is the setup. PS: I have a guest rank for players who haven't been accepted yet. Will this need to be put on the config?

Yes, take a look at the config.yml that has been generated for you in the RankupOnKills folder. Then you should see a ranks: node, under that is where you put all your ranks and settings. Refer to Config Explanation for more information of what to add. for basic pvp only kills, use the following template for each rank:

<Rank>: playerCount: <PVP Kills> mobCound: 0 requireBoth: true sharedCount: false

I'm trying to set up the plugin currently, however I want the plugin to apply to the PEX ranks (groups).

Is this possible? If so can you please explain how to set it up.

Can This Have Multiworld Support? Meaning, I want the command to be /pex user gamerologist group set solder world1 And Not /pex user gamerologist group set soldier Because it would make him be a soldier in both non pvp and pvp worlds when i only want the rank in the pvp world

Hmm this is very strange, all i can think of is that its adding ranks not setting them. Or, the permissions plugin isnt fully compatible. What plugin are you using for permissions and what plugin for the chat prefixes?

I will edit this once i look into it. I need to re-import this plugin from github since i have changed pc's

Edit: Fixed the problem, looks like i forgot to add that back in for 2.0, it is now fixed in the version being uploaded now. Our development server is down at the moment otherwise it would have been on there.

- It should also be the latest build on the development server, its now back up :)

My moderators have the permission - -rankuponkills.count And its still counting the pvp kills they get =( Heres my config? http://pastebin.com/4hU4b427

Yes this does work with pex. Any permissions plugin supported by Vault, which PEX is. This should not break prefixes as it only sets/adds groups, make sure it sets rank instead of add rank.

This plugin does not provide that. However, if you get another plugin that does, it should prevent this plugin from counting.
