RankSigns
Description:
RankSigns is a rank up plugin in which you can rank up or buy permission nodes via signs. It also uses economy to rank up or buy permissions. All you have to do is set up a simple RankSigns sign. This plugin requires Vault and a permissions and economy plugin that supports Vault. This plugin has many more features to add. If you have a suggestion, let me know. Setting up a RankSigns sign:
Making the signs can be confusing. Please take a look at the image at the top right corner of the page if you are having problems.
- Line 1: [RankSign] OR [PermSign] OR whatever you have specified in the config
- Line 2: The Rank or Permission node that is being sold
- Line 3: Price (This can also be set to free, or left blank if you set the currency to none)
- Line 4: Unused, but maybe time?
Config:
- currency: Can be set to none (allowing line 3 to be blank) or money
- Shorter Permissions: With this feature in the config, you can have a permission node that doesn't fit on a sign renamed to something that will fit on the sign. An example is already available in the config. You can do as many as you want and even rename permissions that already do fit on the sign. With this feature, the permission in permsign.buyperm.[permission] will not be the shorter version, it will be the actual permission node. This new feature can be confusing, so if you need help I will be glad to help!
- Sign Headers: Edit the first line which indicates a rank/perm sign
Permissions:
- ranksign.buyrank: Gives permission to buy all permissions
- ranksign.buyrank.[rank]: Gives permission to buy a rank from a RankSign
- permsign.buyperm: Gives permission to buy all permissions
- permsign.buyperm.[permission]: Gives permission to buy a perm from a PermSign
- ranksign.create: Gives permission to create RankSigns
- permsign.create: Gives permission to create PermSigns
Commands:
- /ranksigns: Shows version of plugin and what you can do based on your permissions.

Posted Mar 29, 2021Great! I love this! I use it on my 1.16.5 Freebuild server with lucky perms.
But I have noticed I have it set up where people buy non-donator ranks with it with in-game money. it only gives them that rank for that world. is there a way to fix that?

Posted Oct 23, 2014OK this the Type of Plugin I'm looking For but i had a Big Question is there anyway you can make it GUI Style .. Or maybe a Button. Also I'm Just Looking for a Rank Plugin that can Rank a Player to 5-6 Different Groups and those groups having more Groups within um sorta like your Doc,music,Video folders but with Groups, Doc Folder goes into Random Folders you make and so on and video folder goes into more folders but for a Rank System.

Posted Jul 7, 2014Players cant rankup! I used the correct permissions and all! Users are able to by B, But not C Group B has permission ranksign.buyrank.C, but still cannot buy C And the sign specifically says [RankSign] C 500 (Yes, they have enough money too!) I am using groupmanager, is it not supported?(A-B worked though)

Posted May 12, 2014Is there a way to make the plugin set the players group, rather than just change there group per-world? I'm using PermissionsEx, players start with the Beginner rank, and complete a short guide, and then I'm trying to promote them to User rank, so it should read like

Posted May 4, 2014What??? Can someone help me out? When I use this, I get caught in a loop. I have to click on a rank or perm sign in order to get permission to make a rank or perm sign. But I have to make a rank or perm sign to click one!!! HELP!!!
