RankMarket
RankMarket is designed to let your users choose their donation benefits or earn money in your economy and rank up.
Each "rank" has a permission node associated with it's availability for purchase, so you can make even design tiered rank up systems, where each rank unlocks the next for purchase!
How to use
Typing '/rank' in-game will open up a list of available ranks for purchase. Type '/rank name' to purchase the rank (if you have enough funds available).
Configuration
The RankMarket config file (plugins/RankMarket/config.yml) is the only place you need to edit to setup your ranks.

Permissions
RankMarket uses the "SuperPerms" system to actually check for permissions, but lets you use any Vault supported Permission plugin to make the purchase.
To give a group permission to one rankup simply give them: rankmarket.rankname. (Ex. rankmarket.builder) The 'rankmarket.*' node gives access to all rankmarket permissions.
Economy
RankMarket supports any Vault supported Economy plugin, what you use is entirely up to you!
It takes the money from the players 'balance in hand' or 'wallet' rather than banks.

Posted Mar 23, 2012I use this on my server for a tiered system. I have a nether ranking system for my "banished" players so they can rank up and be pardoned. I also have a crafter tier for my normal players to buy their next rank and essentially buy permissions. I noticed that I have to remove the rank nodes for the ranks i do not want the others to purchase. so if my crafter1 rank wants to rank up i give them - rankmarket.crafter2 and then give them - ^rankmarket.crater3 and so on. This removes the possibility of them skipping ranks and also removes cross ranking from my banished to my crafters.

Posted Mar 20, 2012Can we have a bit more documentation on a more complex structure? Is it possible to add just permission nodes? Do I have to create a group in bPerms first? What would the stucture look like to have the multi-tiered system? Also, does it set the group, or add the group to the user?

You can make it so they can only rankup to the rank you set in Permissions For example if you have a member that wants to be come a villager and you have about 20 other ranks for other people you can set that rank to just be able to rank up to the group you set in permissions like this -rankmarket.villager < this makes it so they only see this rank and they only can rank up to that Rank..

Posted Mar 11, 2012Hey, this is a really great plugin. I only have a few problems not with the plugin but how it works. On my server you rank by money, but you pay like 1,000 for a rank then you pay 3,000 for the next rank. With this plugin people can skip ranks without paying the previous rank. I don't know if its possible but if you could do this it would be great.

There would be an if statement, checking for the amount of money was sufficient, and if it was, then run a command to deduct it, and run a command to change your perms? All through console?

I have been looking for this plugin for weeks! almost payed someone $100 to make it for me, I was about to. Until i found this plugin. You made exactly what i needed! my server owes you! I will be donating to you when you put up a donation button or something. Guys this plugin works for 1.1-r4 and it works perfectly with GroupManager. If you are having problems it might be your vault economy or permissions plugin is not compatible with this plugin or not updated. But it works fine for me. once again I thank you sooo much!
