General Information

RandomPowerups lets players use certain items to fly, launch fireballs, get a speed boost, and use lightning. The plugin is very lightweight and fun. By default although you can use permissions all players can obtain these items and activate the power ups. Each power up is linked to an item so when you right click with that item it will activate the power up. The list of items is below with the power up they activate next to it.

The Lightning power up is activated with the Pumpkin Stem block, item id 104. The lightning power up allows the player to strike lightning at the block he/she is looking at.

The fireball power up is activated with the Blaze Rod, item id 369. This allows the player to launch a large fireball in the direction he/she is looking. Please note that the fireball is created 2 blocks above you so if you jump and shoot a fireball it could end up hitting you. Also do not spam fireballs as they will hit each other and blow up above you.

The speed power up is activated with Sugar, item id 353. The speed power up gives the player the potion effect "Speed 2" for 10 seconds. This will give them a small amount of time to run around. Open your inventory to check the timer on the speed. As it is a potion effect it will be displayed next to your inventory area.

The flight power up is activated with a Feather, item id 288. When the player uses a feather it allows them to fly for the next 5 seconds. There is no warning when the flight is disabled so you could just drop out of the sky and die if you are not careful. A timer in chat for flight is scheduled to be added next update.

Items and power ups

Click with the following items in hand to use the power ups.

• Pumpkin Stem (104) - Lightning Power up, strike lightning at the block you are looking towards.
• Blaze Rod (369) - Fireball Power up, send a large fireball at the block or player your looking at.
• Sugar (353) - Speed Power up, gives you speed 2 for 10 seconds.
• Feather (288) - Flying Power up, allows you to fly around for 5 seconds.

Permissions

By default all players has access to all abilities.

• randompowerups.abilities.lightning - Allowed to use the lightning power up.
• randompowerups.abilities.fireball - Allowed to use the fireball power up.
• randompowerups.abilities.speed - Allowed to use the speed power up.
• randompowerups.abilities.flight - Allowed to use the flying power up.
