Random Number
THINGS HAVE CHANGED! MAKE SURE TO CHECK IT OUT
Random Number was my (Stone_Tigris) first project and plugin ever. I was learning Java and it wasn't that great, and after a month it became discontinued. Darkcop asked if he could relaunch it and code it again from scratch, making it better. He is the new maintainer, and the project will be mostly run by him. This time, I hope the plugin stays continued for much longer. We hope you can try it out!
About the Plugin
Random Number will generate random numbers for you whenever you may need them. It generates a random number between 1 and 20, and then sends the player a message with the number, and broadcasts it to the rest of the server. There is now a config file which you can set your minimum and maximum number, by default they are set to minimum of 1 and the maximum of 20.

Posted May 25, 2013Big request: make each number able to activate a command you write in the config, to make it like a customizable lottery. For example number 1 gives you money via /eco give [player] [amount] , number 2 gives you a better rank via a permission plugin's command etc. Would that be doable?

It must generate numbers in a pseudorandom fashion as the methods Java uses are based off of an computerized algorithm for generating random numbers. As far as I'm concerned the Java random code is composed of various functions mashed together. Here's the actual code for it:

Posted Feb 4, 2012Config is more or less done, but still doing admin notifications. If you want the config with just the option to turn the broadcast on or off I can do that tonight, just make a comment.
