What is RacesAndClasses?
RacesAndClasses (RaC) was made to bring the best RPG experience to Minecraft servers. You are able to customize your own classes and races, making your server a world full of adventure! RaC is inspired by the biggest MMORPG game in the world, known as World Of Warcraft.

Plugins with RaC
RaC works with almost any plugin! Mcmmo, heroes, faction and towny. These are the most commonly used plugins for this plugin and they all work 100%
RaC offers plenty of configuration, for each individual server. For example some server owners love the teleport arrow for raiding, and some don't; so It's all up to you.
Developers guide
RaC is as mentioned, a customizable plugin, that also counts for custom traits.
This means, that any developer can make their own traits and make his/her server even more special!

Important notices
First of all: All these components can be disabled in the config!
Gravity's Updater:
For legal reasons and for uploading this plugin to Bukkit I have to mention, that the plugin has an updating service which connects to 'http://www.curseforge.com/'. This includes:
- Checking the Version of the plugin against the newest release Version.
- Downloading the newest Version if enabled.
Error Uploader:
Also the Plugin uses an Error Uploding Service, which connects to my Domain: www.tobiyas.tk.
This includes:
- Reading Errors from the error.log located at plugins/RacesAndClasses/debug/error.log
- Uploading these errors to my domain (www.tobiyas.tk)
- The Errors are visibly ONLY to me (Tobiyas) and are regularly checked to find and fix bugs faster than via Tickets.
Hidendra's Metrics:
The plugin uses Hidendra's Metrics service and sends Metrics data of your Server to the Metrics at 'http://mcstats.org/'. This includes:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
All these services are optional and can be disabled via Configuration.
UPDATING From 1.1.6 AND OLDER VERSION
If you use the config.raceMaxHealth: ... of a race, this has been removed with 1.1.7.
You now have to use config.healthbonus: ... (as in classes) instead.
You get 20 base health + race healthbonus + class health bonus.
UPDATING FROM 1.0.3 AND OLDER VERSION
If you use
general_saving_savePlayerDataToDB: true
Set this option to false and do a restart with the old Version. For best Use with 1.0.3 (RC 2)! This will convert all File DB related Data to YML data. If you do NOT do this, your PlayerData will be LOST!!!
If you have
general_saving_savePlayerDataToDB: false
you can safely ignore this step.
Known Bugs for Current Version (1.2.0)
Only runs on Bukkit distros using Spigot API (spigot, paper, ...).

Hmm, I am not entirely sure why the Class gui is not popping up. . .
Try making sure that in your config:
classes_openClassSelectionAfterRaceSelectionWhenNoClass_enable:Is set to true.

Having a player choose a class by clicking on a NPC should be relatively easy.
In you Config, there should be two settings ( Found under Leveling ).
In the brackets [], you would put the Name, ( not the ID ) of the Npc you want to Open the Gui.
If this does not work, I do believe that I have another method that is just a little more complicated.

Hi! Im having trouble finding out how to let my players get Mana. They arent getting any and they dont start with any. They have mage class and it says 0/200 mana which I set it to Can I have help with finding out how to get mana?

Why when i join on my server it just happear the races GUI ? After i choose my races it doesnt happear the class, i have to do /class etc....
2° question, how can i make that someone can choose a class just by clickin on npc created by citiziens?

You can prevent certain Races / Classes from using Tools via the ToolTrait.
Though I have never used this myself, the configuration of the Trait looks like this:
This trait I am showing you should prevent whatever Race/Class it is assigned to from using Diamond Axes.

If you wish to restrict certain Permission Groups from using certain Races, do the following:
In the config turn:
to true.
Then, in your Permissions Plugin, give the Groups you want to be able to use the Race the following Permission.
Where RACENAME is the name of your Race.

The same is also possible with Classes, look through the config and try to figure it out.
It is the same general concept as the Races.

Sorry for the late reply, I know I shouldn't keep people waiting like that.
Have you tried using the latest version? I know I used to have problems with arrow abilities, but I haven't checked in awhile.
Updating to 1.1.6 just might fix your problem.

Why are you installing version 1.1.1?
On 1.8, you should be using atleast version 1.1.2, or the latest version. ( Version 1.1.6 )

i have 1.8 spiggot and i installed 1.1.1 racesandclasses but when i try to set configuration there is just 1 files " debug "
the problem on console is that :ERROR Error occurred while enabling RacesAndClasses v1.1.1 (Is it up to date?)

How do I remove the [RaC] Prefix?
Unfortunately, I do not know of a way to remove the [RaC] Prefix.
Your best bet would be to post a ticket, as I am unsure if this plugin is Open Source.
How do you I add a Spawn Point for a Class?
Assuming you use Essentials:
Set per-warp-permission to true in it's config.
Make a warp where you want the Class spawn to be.
Then . .
This should give the Class the Permission to use the Following Warp. (Where [warpname] is the warp you set. )

I am unsure of your question, but, when you hold certain items, does it display a Magic Spells Spell instead?
If this is the case, delete all the default Spells.
However, if you want to keep them, do the following instead:
Wherever you see. . .
just comment it.

Posted Sep 4, 2015As I see it, there are 3 Questions ( Besides the Channel one, Mcshnazzy was right on that. )
The 3 Questions, I believe, are:
1) Speed in Water
2) Bonus Damage in Water
and
3) Bonus Damage after hitting people.

We'll start with the easiest, Bonus Damage in Water:
We are going to use the DamageIncreaseTrait, but we need to limit it for water only.. thus:
DamageIncreaseTrait:
operation: '+'
value: 2
onlyInWater: true
This will make it so that whoever has this Trait will do 2 Bonus Damage while in water.

Next, strength after hitting people:
There is currently no modifier that causes a trait to activate after hitting someone.
But.. there is one thing that we can do to imperfectly replace this:
DamageIncreaseTrait:
operation: '+'
value: 2
# How long, in seconds, it takes for the effects to wear off when recently damaged
onlyAfterDamaged: 4
This following Trait will cause the player to do bonus damage when recently damaged.
This trait is easily triggerable during combat, but like I said, it is far from a perfect solution.
I suggest that you try making a ticket asking for something like:
onlyAfterAttacking:

You can remove channels by going in to the chat part of config and put all of it to false o-o I wish there was a better way but thats the only way I know.
