QwickTree
QwickTree v 2.2.4
What Is QwickTree?
QwickTree is a permission supporting plugin that will harvest the whole tree when the bottom block it destroyed with specific tools (see the default config)
Features
- Harvests the whole tree when the bottom block of the tree is destroyed with config definable items (stone axes or better, by default);
- Checks within a certain area of the tree for common "house" blocks - so your log cabin can stay standing! Can be changed in the config. NOTE: This will not stop them from destroying the tree, but it will stop the player from harvesting the whole tree.
- Replants Sapling when the tree is chopped down - replants all 4 sapling in large Jungle trees!
- Permissions support. Permissions can also be disabled in the config.
- Now supports protect regions. (Only tested with WorldGuard so far)
- Ability to Disable & Enable the plugin in-game all users, or individual users without needing to reboot the server or mess with permissions.
- Drop vines when they are attached to or near the tree.
- Bottom level of leaves are not destroyed on Jungle trees only.
- Tree Specific drops, e.g. Only Oak Trees drop apples.
- Ability to stop QwickTree from chopping down tree types.
- Damage support for the entire tree - so chopping down a Jungle tree won't act like you only hit one block! All items that take damage will be damaged - even a bow or golden helmet!
- Maximum size limit for a tree. Your sacred 10,000 block tree is safe from vandals.
- Logging in grief-logging plugins - so you can see who chopped down the tree. (Only specific plugins supported so far, see below for details)

Hi! Unfortunately, I'm not fluent enough in any language to translate the plugin.
However, if there's enough interest then I can certainly look into getting a translation file sorted so other users can contribute their translations.

If you've got a permissions plugin, you'll need to give players the qwicktree.use permission. If not, you'll have to edit the config and change usePerms to false.
Hopefully that should sort and issues you're having. If not, please let me know.

Posted Jan 22, 2016How do I make it work? I've put it into the plugins folder and restarted the server many times but when i use a stone axe on the bottom of a tree it doesn't chop the entire tree.

I can add that. It'll be in the next release.
@kachekos
Hi, I hear you're having issues with using WorldGuard. QwickTree already supports WorldGuard regions so the issue could be your specific configuration. Could you please post a ticket detailing the server version you're using, all plugins and their versions as well as you WorldGuard config and the region info? If you also run /qt debug and try again, and then add the output of that too. Thanks!

That's certainly a feature I can work on. I'll take a look at it, and let you know!
Edit Okay, I've added two options to each tree type:
Hopefully that'll do what you're after, if not, let me know!

Posted Nov 20, 2015Could you implement that the tree fully breaks even when you hit the tree somewhere else?

Posted Jul 14, 2015Ok, so i have tested it out a bit more. This happens to my custom trees http://i.imgur.com/sfymBXl.png
You think there would be any way to stop it?
[EDIT]: nevermind, the plugin i use to make my custom trees will automatically set leaves to decay, so i will just use qwicktree to break the logs :D

Fair enough, i might just have a rule that you have to break the leaves before you move on.

It only chops the logs that are adjacent to other logs in the trees, but it will chop the leaves in the area, which could mean that there are just the trunks left behind on nearby trees.
Although bear trunks by themselves might not chop (depending on the minimum leaf values in the config for the tree type)

I think i will just try and use what you just mentioned for now and see how it goes. If the radius is too big for say, an oak tree, and someone cut it down, would all other oak trees that are too close be chopped too? or is the plugin smarter than that :P

Thanks for posting, I'm glad you like QwickTree.
If you look in the config, you should be able to alter the radius for each tree type. The bit you're looking for is the leaf reach. Change that, and you'll be able to chop down larger trees without an issue.
Of course, this will change the radius for all trees of that type, whether or not it's the larger variants. I can look into a way for the radius to change when trees are larger if that's something that would be helpful for you.

Posted Jul 11, 2015First of all, i love the plugin, i tried 4 others before i finally got to yours and it works properly. However, i want to know if maybe you could add an option to enable this to be compatible with 'larger' trees, because i use custom made trees which are slightly too big for the radius the plugin cuts, and leaves behind some floating leaves.
