Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.
Found a bug? Have a suggestion? Sumbit a ticket.
Don't forget to specify Quester version you are using and label the ticket appropriately. Tickets without label will take longer to review or be ignored completely.
Latest DEV version should be working with recent minecraft versions. See dev builds.

The Quest is active, I can join it with /q start Questname. When I right click on NPC it simply says that no Quest ist selected. When I left click on NPC nothing happen.

Posted Feb 2, 2013Hello, when I try to assign a Quest to a Citizens2 NPC, it does not work. I created the holder, and right clicked the NPC with a rod (Holder assigned). When I type : /q holder info, it says that the Quest ist assigned "0. [0] Questname". But when I right click now on the NPC it says that no quest ist selected.
Please help, thanks you !

Yes, there is a way, holding SHIFT while clicking NPC will force it to give you new selected quest instead of trying to complete your current one.

Posted Feb 1, 2013Hey, if i use citizens as quest NPCs and have already a quest assigend but want to start a second one (in config up to 10 allowed) i always get "You can't complete your quest here"
Is there any way by using NPCs to start Quests to start 2 similar ?

Like "You must have done quest XXX at least YYY seconds ago" ?
default QUEST + QUESTNOT with time YYY should do the trick.

No. All I was doing recently ws answering questions. I wasn't really looking into your issue. Perhaps you ca repeat them because you are OP/have quester.admin.

I have 2 questions about eventual issue but i don't know if i do things wrongly or if this is issue so i don't post a ticket for that...
How can i destroy physically a [Quester] sign ?
After holder remove it still protected against destruction even if i'm op.
Did the QUESTNOT condition works corretly ?
I create a quest with a QUESTNOT condition like your Quest example. The QUESTNOT condition is the name of this quest but i can take it even if i completed this quest and it is listed as "Quests completed" on my "profile".
Perhaps it's because i have all perms and op ?
Edit: my quests.yml, my yaml file is valid and generated by in game command only.

Posted Jan 31, 2013Personally I think the system plugin allows pairing with a dungeon EpicBoss the only thing missing would be a restriction order (/ back or / home), and see a group system. Apart from all this is possible simply just ordered events:
Teleport player in the area-> Player and advance into the area = event: spawn monsters -> action is repeated, like a signposted route-> player enters the zone = event: command spawn boss

Find good dungeon plugin and use it with quester, because I will not include dungeons anytime soon, if ever.
