Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.
Found a bug? Have a suggestion? Sumbit a ticket.
Don't forget to specify Quester version you are using and label the ticket appropriately. Tickets without label will take longer to review or be ignored completely.
Latest DEV version should be working with recent minecraft versions. See dev builds.

Nie, ykon pluginu ovplyvnuje hlavne obsah aktualneho questu kazdeho pouzivatela. Ale kym nebudes robit komplikovane 50 objectivove a 50 conditionove questy, tak be nemal byt uplne ziadny problem. Niektori ludia mi pisali ze maju tisice riadkov questov a vsetko ide. Napriek tomu stale pozeram ako zvysit vykon, takze by to nemal byt problem ani v buducnosti.

Posted Jan 29, 2013Co se týče výkonu pluginu, je šance že nastane problém když bych měl vytvořených 40 questů jednoduchých - sebereš q, doneseš itemy, odevdzáš ? Budu potřebovat server co nejvíce odlehčit.

There is no Quests.config file. Make sure that access rights are set up correctly.

Nope, it's always checked before giving random quest. Are you 100% sure players don't have this permission ?

You know, when other plugins cancel action event's quester won't get them, because it's not accepting cancelled ones. It is because some NPCs may be protected by protection plugins. Submit a ticket and I will look into it once I have time.

1.Can you make the boss objective so that the player that deals the most damage complete the objective? (Including the last hitter)
or
2.Or you can make party(mcmmo) compability so that everyone in the party will complete boss objective when one of the party member kill the boss

Posted Jan 27, 2013Has there ever been an issue with the objective type: BOSS? Im testing one and I have epic boss running perfectly, and the quester will spawn the boss but when I kill it the objective never completes. Im still looking for a way to make it work or looking for an error thats hard to detect with such a simple script. Ill submit a ticket if I cant find anything on my own to make it work lol

Posted Jan 27, 2013I was wondering if there is any noted conflict between some plugins. I notice that in my spawn area which is protected by worldguard it is sometimes buggy when trying to right or left click to start quests. I tried changing up McMMO to only allow ability starts when sneaking. This fixed a lot of the problems but still every now and then players are having difficulty starting quests or cycling through quests. Was just wondering if you happened to know. If not no worries and thanks for the info :]

In regards to the quester.use.start.random permission node, is this given to players by default? I haven't given it to anyone but when they accidentally type '/q start' it puts them in a mission. Do I have to give them - -quester.use.start.random to prevent this?

I'm not sure what you mean here. You can use multiworld for world creation and worldguard for multiworld protection.
Worldguard does work, you are just probably not using it correctly. I believe it's one of the best protection plugins available. There is a reason why it is so widely used, so stop telling me how bad it is.

No Citizens je jeden z narocnejsich pluginov, ale dost to zavisi od toho mnozstva npcciek a od vlastnosti ktore maju. Najlepsie je asi vyskusat a zistit. Quester taktiez moze lagovat, ale pri beznom pouziti nie je na to dovod.

also world guard has no multi world creation:P
and world guard sux.. just cant find any other protection plugin that does what i need to.. (not like world guard does)
