Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.

Posted Dec 13, 2012Hey,
I'm probably being noobish here, but I load in the plugin, type /q and nothing happens
Quester fully loads without errors in console
Any ideas?

Posted Dec 12, 2012What is a Questholder?
To begin a quest we usually have to type /q start [Questname], but with the use of QuestHolders we are also able to interact with NPC's and Signs to start our quest. Each NPC or Sign can have only one QuestHolder assigned to it, but each QuestHolder can have as many quests as you need. Assigning a QuestHolder to an NPC or Sign is a simple process, all you have to do is;
Now any of the quests you added to your QuestHolder in Step 3 can be started by simply interacting with the NPC or Sign you selected in Step 4.

I believe that thanks a lot was for you, and the rest was for me.
@ comprehensibility:
First QuestHolder sentence:
"Questholder can be imagined as box of quest references, that are displayed in given order and are grouped together under unique ID."
First two NPCs and Signs sentences:
"NPCs and Signs only serve to access contents of chosen QuestHolder. Only one QuestHolder can be assigned to each NPC/Sign."
After reading these, can't you imagine what quesholder is and how NPCs/Signs work ? I always imagine NPC holding box full of quests in certain order, and each NPC can have one box.
Anyway, would you write simple tutorial on how to create quester NPC with quests ? I think you are better at explaining than me and you know how it works.

The explanation of QuestHolders is rather confusing unless you go into reading it already knowing what they are, I read the page a few times and didn't understand what they were until I tried it in game. "If you would like quests able to be started at signs or NPCs as well as by command, you will have to assign a QuestHolder to that sign or NPC. A single QuestHolder can be used to hold more than one quest, so a single sign or NPC can give multiple quests to players".

Thank you for being sorry for me failing with documentation. Can you specify anything from his post that is not on my pages ?
@S411y
Read the documentation please. I spent way too much time on the documentation to write specific parts of it into the comments over and over again. Thank you.

You have to add every single permission, because groupmanager appears to not work correctly when using * in permissions.

Posted Dec 12, 2012I think something with the permissions is wrong. I gave a user quester.* and he couldnt even use /q help. Im using GroupManager
